These videos are teaching me that desertification is more about poor farming practices than an unruly earth. Am I wrong? It seems to focus on agriculture and not ecology. This, however, only makes sense. We would, of course, see the environment in terms of our needs. Deserts are a problem because we cannot eat sand.
