  • i aint tryin to leave a negative comment but tracer rounds cant catch stuff on fire cause the magnisum on the rounds on burns for like four seconds.

  • @TheEPCpwn Yes sir, you are correct, you do have to be careful with these. Thats why put the disclaimer at the beginning where I advised I waited until we had some heavy rain and the ground and trees were saturated wet before I shot these

  • that one shot at 1:38 ????

  • @jacker372 Not sure, it does riccochet off into the woods

  • Didn't even know that there traces in this calibre! Great!

Tried to set your Zombie in fire with it yet?

  • @VeryGunhappy Not these, but I lit him up with some dragons breath 12 gauge rounds

  • Liked that!

  • @toddpounds Thanks my friend

  • LOL dont be sorry, that was funny! and I hope I'm a pretty cool grandma :)

  • Those tracers were Awsome! I took my granson to the range, and he loved shooting my 10/22 and the looks on his face! cracked me up, he had just turned 5

  • @wahineshooter Yes sir, those are priceless moments he will always remember with Grandpa

  • @brotherskeepers111 Mike, It's grandma LOL have a great day! :)

  • @wahineshooter lol, I am so sorry about that, sounds like he has a pretty cool Grandma :)

  • Those tracers were Awsome! I took my granson to the range, and he loved shooting my 10/22 and the looks on his face! cracked me up,

  • I love it! Especially the look on your son's face. :-)

  • @mpg827 Thanks brother, we had a great day

  • @bloodngutspatriot lol, thanks man

  • Sorry for the negative comment: Why wan't I invited? LOL.

Looked like you and your son had fun! The look on his face at 2:00 is priceless.

  • @beerbrewer737 Thanks my friend, we had a great day

  • VERY cool! I noticed he's a lefty too!

  • @74Hobbes Thanks man, a little chip off the old block

  • @brotherskeepers111 Gotta love it! Nice job...

  • A junior Joshiedoom! Fire em up kiddo!

  • @joshiedoom lol, there you go

  • you know tracers were origionally used to take down zepplins the hot burning phosphorus ignited the hydrogen inside the balloon but since they burn so bright someone went "hey these would be good to use at night"

  • @iamcondescending Thanks for the info my friend, I appreciate that

  • wouldnt think a .22 would go fast enough for them to light up but there they are!

  • @iamcondescending I think the fact that they are so slow helps you see them, I have seen them out of a 5.56 and its going so fast they dont show up as good

  • I always want to get some tracers but never thought about the fire hazard. Thanks for posting that. Your kid has some good gun control.

  • @87gn They say no, its not corrosive, maybe a little dirtier than standard ammo, but nothing a good bore snake cant handle

  • Great vid man! I love family time!

  • @lenty2000 Thanks my friend, we had a great day

  • Good solid fun. I didn'r know they made tracers for the 22 cal. Great vid.

  • @EDINBURGSTAR Thanks my friend, they are alot of fun

  • Those are neat. and your little boy is cute too.

  • @mmlrc6atgmailcom Thanks my friend, I appreciate it

  • Way cool, take care and have a great day.

  • @ewtoutdoors Thanks my friend

  • Great job Josh! And hey your Dad shoots pretty good too.

  • @FirearmPop Thankyou sir, yes, we had a great day, he is getting pretty handy with his little rifle

  • Looked like a great deal o' fun. ;)

  • @realgungho It sure was my friend

  • @SONOFUHGUN Thanks man

  • @tazlmc Thanks man, its a normal 22 round, that has a red substance on the tip that burns bright when fired through the barrel

  • Great video. It's great to see you and your son bonding like that.

  • @bcoyote Thanks man we had a good time

  • those tracer rounds are cool.

  • @standook They sure are

  • Nice video my friend. Love those tracers

  • @Dafarnakis Thanks my friend

  • cool stuff

  • @StatenIslandPrepper Thanks my friend

  • lol how old is your son? he must have been lik "star wars is real AAHH". no seriously he looks like a nice boy

  • @michelthegreatable He is seven, and we had a great time

  • Sir, you are being irresponsible... By not telling me they made .22 tracers! Man, where can I get some?

  • @DemonHide lol, I got mine at a gunshow, but you can buy them in red and green ones at cheaperthandirt com

  • Awesome! And definately would want Junior Zombie Killer by my side when the Apocalypse Hits, JZK and Brothers Keeper!

  • @SkipandDill lol, thanks my friends, I appreciate it

  • This looks like it was one of those rare days that you and your son will remember for a lifetime - "The day that dad and I shot fire bullets from his rifle".

  • @theKGB65 Yes sir we had a great day

  • Those were pretty cool lol. I tried some surplus 5.56mm nato tracers one time just for the heck of it, and they certainly weren't as bright as those .22cals.

  • @Everett07630 I think the lower velocity helps with these, making them easier to see

  • im proud to see americas youth handling weapons with such resposibility and comtroll at sucj a young age. if everybody was like your son there would be way less gun laws in america. keep up the vids :)

  • @aaronsname Thanks my friend, you have to teach and train them at an early age

  • COOL!

  • @aj45colt Thanks man

  • OH MOST EXCELLENT!!

  • Did you shoot some of these from your 22/45 ?

  • @waseem1173 No sir, I sure didnt, but I am pretty sure they would work though

  • nothin like a day shootin with your son, good fun.

  • @SIG226Y Yes sir, thanks for watching

  • Man those look cool

  • @xZarthornx Yes sir, good stuff

  • @brotherskeepers111 haha yeah definatly. The owner of the land said he didnt care though because he was wanting to set part of the land on fire anyway so it could grow back better, so that was good haha

  • those tracer rounds are fun

  • @SupremeAmerican Yes s ir they are, I had two FTF's out of the fifty

  • Dang , i didnt even know they made trasers for 22's

  • @cpac97 I didnt either, until I saw them at the gun show

  • that rocks buddy. its like im watching footage from iraq all over again. can you blast those out of a pistol?

  • @PavlovSandor Yes sir, they worked great in my 22/45

  • i always like to see the tracers in the machine guns too. looks like u had a couple of failures to feed. i cant get tracers in california. booo who. good vid sir

  • @josephd27 they deprive you guys of alot of things out there my friend, and yes, I had two FTF's, when I shot it from the POV view it ran perfect

  • Thanks for sharing!!!

  • @StatenIslandPrepper Thanks for watching man

  • Great shots of tracer rounds,,,Glad to see you are teaching the little warrior to shoot, Nice Job!!!!

  • are they having trouble cycling? I bought a 10/22 last year and haven't shot it yet, I was hoping it was a quality rifle, they have a great reputation.

I have had a nylon 66 back in the 60's and picked up a marlin glenfield 60 in the 80's, but I haven't spent a lot of time on the 22 rifles, but I do shoot the Mark II target pistol, its tops. good tracer footage bro's

  • @marvintheboon My 10/22 is usually flawless, no issues ever, but with this ammo I had the Two FTF's

  • @brotherskeepers111 Yah the tracers are a little slower than normal rounds they go 1050 fps so it might be they are kinda lightly powered and dont always cycle semis

  • Total Coolness! Thanks for sharing.

  • @BigOStyle1 Thanks man

  • Coolness factor 10!!!! Now if only you had one of those 50 round ruger mags for 10/22. best gun show investment, ever!

  • @PaullyinAZ Thanks my friend, they were alot of fun

  • man those were awesome...i gotta get me some of them...lol

  • @mach1mustang1971 Yes sir, we had a good time

  • Only you can prevent forest fires

  • @LPSmasonry lol

  • Hey where did you get that sight and what did you pay for it ive been looking for a shorter range sight that I can use for m mini14

  • @gunsmith93 Its made by TruGlo, I dont know if they make this particular model anymore, but they still produce one very similar to it. I paid about 45 dollars for it some years at go at Wal-Mart. I dont think they carry them anymore, all I ever see in there now are red dots by Tasco.

  • @brotherskeepers111 Hey...i picked one up on ebay a couple of months ago for about 20 bucks...it works great!

  • Nice video, I've always loved the tracer rounds due to the cool factor

  • @awomansworld123 Yes maam, me too, thanks for watching

  • @GIDAN2987 Not sure, first time I ever tried them, but that might be the case

  • Now that was cool bro. Gotta get some of those!

  • @dxporker Thanks for watching brother

  • Its so much fun to shoot with our kids :) that was a great video and that looked like a great shot on his part! thank you for sharing with us sir!

    Mr5point56 and fam

  • @Mr5point56 Thanks man, yea Josh nailed that barrel at 125 yards, thanks brother

  • haha nice. Last year when i went camping (it was on some guys land that i knew) some of the other people were shootin tracer rounds and endin up setting one of the fields on fire haha.

  • @crism90 Definetely dont need to be using these in dry conditions thats for sure

  • Great video, brother; liked it. Some large caliber tracer rounds would be interesting to try.

    God bless!

  • @TheCrushmaster Yea I may try it in my AR at a later date for sure

  • That's so much fun my friend. I enjoy going out with my son and shoot some cans too. your nice young man shoots like a champ. Did I hear you saying bolt action.? That sounded more of a semi-auto. :)

  • @lhusby Yea mine is a semi, and my sons is a bolt action. Thanks my friend

  • thats what its all about right there, for a lefty your boy is doing it right....thumbs up

  • @phishst1cks Thanks man, he is getting really good with it

  • cool i didnt know they had tracers for the .22lr

  • @ixVENGEFULxi Yea you can pick them up at most gun shows or look online for piney mountain tracers

  • cool video my wife even liked it

  • @jmmurdy lol, glad to hear that

  • Very cool!

  • @TheDiceAreLoaded Thanks man

  • Very cool video Brother!!

  • @old12school3 Thanks my friend

  • @Waverip11 I think these do well because they are only moving about 1000 feet per second, the 5.56 is three times as fast and probably makes it harder to see over short distances

  • Dude you are a great father. I wish to God my dad would have done things with me like that. All I can remember is that he went to one of my ball games throughout my life and he was mad that my mother made him do it. I was so nervious that he was there that when a pop fly ball went up in the air I didnt catch it and it broke my nose. He wass really pissed when he had to take me to the hospital. Your son will allways remember you doing things with him. Trust me.

  • @enok45 Thanks man, I hope and pray he will have good memories of his childhood and all the fun things we have done together. I have a good father, but he did not share my love of firearms, we have never been shooting together, he just never cared for it.

  • Try dragonbreath in a 12 gauge that stuff is great at night but hard to find

  • @zombiekillerjordan I have never heard of it, I will google it and check it out

  • love it.

  • @fisherdigital Me too my friend

  • cool vid man.

  • @chaseme81871 Thanks my friend

  • i didnt even know they made .22 tracers rounds. How much were they?

  • @USMCmize I paid 15 dollars for a box of 50

  • Did anybody else think

    "Return of the Jedi"

    Forest moon of Endor :D

The last tracer rounds I fired were Hornady .40 cal, they're always a good time.

Watch out for those stormtrooper zombies!

  • @1AbominAble1 Yes it does have kind of a laser blaster look about them

  • That was a great vid, thanks for sharing your Son's shot with us. It gives me some ideas for training my boys, the tracers could really be handy teaching them sight picture and alignment since they'll be able to see it fly downrange. Just like a laser for trigger control, under the right conditions these could be handy training aides.

I loved the ricochet's, had to watch this vid twice :D

    Take care Bro

  • @1AbominAble1 Thanks my friend

  • Great vid! Ya should save that fer christmas! GOD BLESS!

  • @TheDaytonDevil Thanks my friend

  • Very cool. Ive always wanted to try tracer rounds in my .45

  • @samson7x I have seen pistol rounds here on youtube but I do not know who makes them

  • Great Video, Glad to see your a good father who does activities with his kids :)

Tracer rounds are great, also great for a quick signal or to scare off someone with out that 100% lethal factor. *Note* any projectile can be lethal

Again great to see another video and good to see father son bonding.

    Stay Safe

    Kosukifire

  • @KosukiFire Thanks for watching my friend

  • Man that could have caused a fire!!LOL! Just kidding couldn't resist.Awesome video! Good shooting Josh!

  • @Mr45Bullitt LOL, thanks man, yea I figured I had better put a disclaimer right at the beginning to prevent 50 comments about me catching the woods on fire

  • Woah, those were awesome, i always imagine the bullet going alot faster than that though.

  • @HomeMadeGunNut Dont let them fool you, they are moving about 1050 feet a second

  • @brotherskeepers111 sweet, you should use them as fireworks on the 4th of july

  • Of course he will respect and be safe around all "guns" because of your guidance.

The anti-gun people never seem to talk about responsible use. Only worst case scenarios (and factually distorted ones at that).

Hopefully more Americans see this side of sporting and also learn more about the historical aspects (individual rights) regarding firearms and 2nd Amendement.

    Obvious words to those watching.

Great idea. Thanks for sharing the fun!

  • @machineguntongue Thanks my friend, I have another video in the future where I will address some of the very issues you just mentioned, thanks for watching man

  • lol only you can prevent forestfires.lol smokie the bear show up and hit you with a shovel.jk

  • @zombiekillerjordan lol, good one

  • Awesome man!!!!!

  • @JoeDaddy40 Thanks man

  • Very cool! I didn't know they made .22 tracer rounds!

  • @themediocrepirate Yea, they are pretty cool

  • Awesome, i've seen these around from time to time. Looks like they work very well. Your son is well on his way to becoming a rifleman. Thanks for sharing

  • @enscribe Thanks man, yes he is getting pretty good with his little rifle

  • That's quality time right there. I'm looking forward to getting two girls out to the range this year. They are a bit reluctant, but I feel gun safety, and shooting skills are very important for our family. They are 10 and 11yrs old now, so they are ready for the responsibility that comes with handling firearms. Thanks for sharing BK. Take care

  • @PrepPro2717 Yes sir, we had a great day. It is very important for us to instill in our children the love of the outdoors and how important it is to practice our God given rights and to never take them for granted. I appreciate the comment myfriend

  • Too cool

  • @procussionist They are alot of fun indeed

  • I see that he is afflicted with "SouthPawism" as well! ;^{)> ---- Thanks for sharing sir!

  • @AppalachianFreedom Yes sir, thats my boy

  • Appreciate you taking on a little expense to give us some great vid man. Awesome. Good to see your boy out there with ya.

  • @pjicleanair420 Thanks my friend, we had a great time

  • @brotherskeepers111 Hello again sir, just wondering is your son thinking about Law Enforcement as a career? Thanks stay safe

  • @Mightylite94 Yes he talks about it, but I am not going to push him that direction, he might just change his mind when he gets a little older, we shall see

  • @brotherskeepers111 Yes, thats great! I typed that comment before i saw how young he was lol but its great he already thinks of possible careers at a young age. You never know, he could be the President one day! God bless you sir and thumbs UP!!

  • @Mightylite94 Thanks brother
