It's all about the history and wondering who lost the stuff...I find it fascinating. Soon, I will be getting a new detector, a good one, as my Radio Shack one doesn't work anymore. Thanks
What did you use to clean that large penny? I have heard of using olive oil on coin metal(very gentle cleaner) may take days to weeks for the olive oil to break up the layers of dirt and corrosion. Just put object in cup with oil.
Hello:I just mainly washed it with hot soapy water and a stiff toothbrush. Then soaked it in some distilled water for a few days and it was good to go.Thanks for asking.
Hey thanks for the reply.I have the face for radio not video.lol.Well not really that bad but not a guy that likes to put his face on the internet.Peace
I wonder if the princess makeup kit belong to the elderly lady that use to live there? It would be so cool if that was her's when she was a young girl.
Depending on the farms location, you could run across some Civil War artifacts as well. Best of luck to you.
wow man, nice finds. my oldest and best find is a 1920's standing liberty quarter...your so lucky to live in an older part of the u.s.! gl and hh!

you probably wouldn't want to drop any coins you find, they may get damaged and ruin the value.

if you ever find a 1943 penny ill give ya 100 dollars 4 it
ginohaskins 3 years ago
I'll give you a pile of steel 1943 pennies for 100. It's only the copper 1943s that are worth anything significant at all.
