This reminds me a little of Japanese Wolves. The people there were very good to them, and wanted them around, but then turned on them and shot them all. In their case, it was sadly necessary because the wolves got rabies, but these poor crows are just trying to live and protect their babies, and people are torturing and killing them. Suffocating baby birds. That's just sick.

I have many crows living in tall trees about 100m from my house; they are no trouble and never come near to the houses. It looks like they need to introduce wheelie Bins in Japan; I thought they were supposed to be an advanced society?

Hmmm...thats a toughie, but I think I have the solution. Import thousands of giant bird eating spiders, problem solved. Then bring in some snakes to eat the spiders. Then import hordes of Gorilla's to eat the snakes. The Gorilla's can co-exist with humans, pick up garbage, run for office ect...

yea that was probably the one thing i didnt get about japan. lack of public garbage cans, or dumpsters. they piled that garbage up every night and it would be like a wall of garbage. (given it'd all be gone by 7am) im surprised he didn't also touch on the fact cockroaches come out too because of their disposal choice.

Plenty of crows here in the states and I'm sure there are plenty in Canada. Importation and introduction of animals only leads to ecological problems. Killing them is much easier.

agreed... japan is one of the cleanest countries that i have been witness to... everything is neat and clean including the public toilets... but im not sure why they dont put their rubbish into bins... they leave it outside on the footpaths in garbage bags for the garbage trucks to come along and pick it up...
