@mariofreak955 the closest I come to that RE4 situation is that my adventure 2 battle data got corrupted while I was earning emblems. At least I hadn't A ranked missions 3 & 4 for Route 101 and Route 280. that was years ago and i have everything backed up on multiple cards.

Ok two things to say is one In case you didn't know is that you can take a gba link cable (the one where there is an end that goes into the gameboy and the other end goes into the gamecube) and stick it into the gameboy that has no game in it and when you start your gba game in the gameboy player you can turn on your gameboy and it will act as a controller and awesome video dude.

The reason why you can't just put in another GC controller and play multiplayer games is that no Gameboy games support split screen. Therefore, other screens are necessary. Therefore, you have to connect other GB's to the GC for multiplayer.

Yeah I still have my GB player since I found two controller adapters that work great RetroUSB's SNES Retroport and NES Retroport to plug a NES or SNES controller to the Gamecube (they were made to be used on the Wii for VC games but work on D-pad GC games and the GB player)since I prefer a D-pad and Turbo Fire buttons the only drawback select is Z so you have to plug another controller in port 2 if your using the NES pad, it not necessary for most games.
