I like his books they are quite insightful althought they leave you with a raw, hopeless feeling at the end and there's a lot of weird sex in them. I do value my privacy (even though I'm posting here) and take it for granted. This book successfully highlights the long ranging consequences if this freedom is taken.
Yeah, its an odd point, queenkoti...We would all quote that we treasure our privacy yet so many of us find it so difficult to surpress our opinions, thoughts and feelings (as we are both displaying now). I think Elton hits some very important issues about modern culture in this interview but it isn't all bad. If MSN, Myspace, Facebook are used in a way that promotes a more positive, safer social life then they can only be steps forward. I havent read Blind Faith yet, would u recommend it?
Ben Elton - oh we owe you so much !

Very dark, not with as much humour (if any) as his usual books. Well worth reading though.
