I'm just surprised that she was able to beat the game without appreciating the end boss dynamic of "you have to get a bomb through his shields, then he falls down, then GLaDOS gives you a new core to corrupt him." I don't think that was an easy dynamic to grasp and she doesn't seem used to reasoning "on the go" -- but I'm surprised that the game developers didn't force her to do it five times until she understood what she was doing.

They made her think that she would never 'BEAT' the game since the first episode. So it would make perfect sense her striving to finish the game and not understand it.
