It used to make me cry all the time in the novel, because even know Esmeralda was revolted by Quasimodo's helpless appearance, he still loved her and literally died for her.

omg, what an incredible amount of people there was that worked on this movie, so many unsung heroes: people like the "rough inbetweeners" and the "additional background artists" etc etc, but fortunately all of their hard work can be seen and enjoyed within every frame of amazing animation!
