@Invin86rs yeah what people fail to realize is audioque did produce some of the product in china while in america the motor was made and made great. so you will get this subwoofer a lot cheaper than other subwoofers in it class. this sub is equal to dd 3500, dd 9500. I was going to go with an sa-12 until I found out for a little more I can get the audioque. the hdc3 12 price has no competitors.
I have the same deck. I got it for free from some guy because he said that it was stuck in protect mode. well I got it out from protect mode and it comes on and everything and now there is no sound coming from it. can you help me out?
I'm reconing a hdc3 12 and powering with a bxi2608d and inverting the sub. had an accord and did 2 sd2.5 12 off rf 1000.1 wasnt amazing but did wat i wanted it to. Got an suv now and i think it'll beat the tits off the old setup. thanks for the encouragement tacomaster
i know how to wire 2 dvc subs to 1 ohm, .5 an ohm ect.. but i didnt know you could wire a single d4 down to 1 ohm. is it realy at 1 ohm? if so could you tell me how its wired in the box and into the amp?

@mellonhs it'll only seem louder because the sound waves have the back of the trunk to bounce off of. Check out Thorshammer on youtube and you'll see he's got his subs facing into the car and they are ridiculous

if u want to pound way harder make that box bigger inside to about 3.5 cubes and that port to 35 ull be crazy poundin. but freekin tight sytem i ove it check my aq vids out

@fifafan1 The HDC3 will kill the SA 12. Its in a different class. Compare the Sa 12 to the AQ sd 2.5;s.
