I agree. The original's guitar part was really good and shouldn't have been changed. It's like dishonoring the song. But I really appreciate the emotion in the Ryan Adams interpretation of the song. Emotion that's lacking in the original. It gives the song a completely different perspective. I think the ultimate cover of this song would be a combination of both. Slow and soft in the beginning; speed up the tempo and come in with the piano, drums and cello with the chorus.

Love this version.. i like both versions equally tho. It's pretty easy song to pick up, i learnt it the other day in about 10 mins, the picking pattern is pretty straight forward and doesnt vary too much in the song. In Ryan Adams original song, you can hear two guitars, the other is set with a capo on the 8th fret and i think it plays a similar pattern for some of it, but then varies slightly two. Sounds good with one guitar too tho! :D

tbh las you should give up singing, your voice is lacking lots of things. Its quite a weak voice and not really a great range. Im not saying wat you have got is crap, cause for the right songs, it is probably quite nice. For slow jazz or folk acoustic things like I miss you- Incubus or something. But stick with modelling :)
