@md991free apparently, Knight d'Eon, famous Louis XV's secret agent, whose sex has still not been determined, and who kept on changing appearance (once male, once female) used to complain that it took him/her around THREE HOURS to get the whole "toilette", that is dressing, hair-dressing and make up..... do not know whether it really is true, but it shows that it must have been pretty long.
