  • will it work for gh5?

  • can u use a 4 gb

  • Dose it work on xp and windows 7

  • How can you transfer pictures youve edited in Wii Photo Channel to your SD Card?

  • is there a way to transfer some wii pics to a camera or something?

  • is there a way to see pics that were backed up to an sd card on the pc? i see the folder on my card but i cant find the pics in it:s

  • do i really need all of those?

  • THANKS MAN!!! I finally got a picture of me and my Girlfriend on my wii with my fav country love songs, and of corurse some songs that arn't rlly love but are the ones that are fun! THANK YOU!

  • My Wii say that you have to have AAC Files? lol

  • how do u put the SD card in your computer

  • Insert the card into a card reader or other device that is connected to your computer that can read SD cards.

  • u need a usb port adapter, which are usually for micro sd cards, but you can also get a little gadget from ibm that does all the sd types and has the usb adapter...forgot what it was called though, haha

  • thanks.....

  • You cannot import songs into games.

  • Correct me if I'm wrong, but is this 10 minute video basically say "put mp3s on an SD card and put in Wii"

    ?

  • Heh, yes indeed! lol

  • but that dosen't work for me, when i put a mp3 on my sd card, it dosen't show up in the channel

  • You probably have the new Photo Channel. It will say v. 1.1 (or somthing like that in the upper left of the screen before you start the channel) Try AAC encoding instead of MP3. The old Photo Channel used MP3 format while the new one uses AAC format.

  • when i go to the rea and write attribute it only says

    USB enabled

    LAN enabled

    Read-Only mode

    What do i do?

  • When you say DO NOT USE illegally downloaded music b/c they can bugs, wat do you mean by that?like the ones that are viruses or something else that idk

  • I am referring to songs downloaded using services like Lime Wire or any other peer to peer file sharing site/program. Best way to avoid them is to use songs from CDs or download them from the internet via reputable (and legal) vendors like iTunes.

  • I knew about which songs and about the the lime wire, but are their anything actually wrong with the songs themselves?

  • Usually yes. The codecs tend to be corrupted which in time propagates and causes playback problems. And as with many files, viruses can attach themselves and come along for a ride. I am not a security expert so I cannot answer any further questions.

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • is there any way you can play music and play a game at the same time on the wii like on xbox ?

  • Not that I am aware of.

  • ok thanks.

    nice vid btw

  • OK, I want to get a DSi when it comes out in america. I know it uses a SD card as well. now should all the same be used to transfer music to the SD card to the wii as the DSi? and doesn't iTunes use AAC format to their music now days??

  • I currently do not support such conversions in regards to the DSi so I would not know.

  • thanks for the info! =)

  • wait i can get my pictures up but not any of my music. i dont have i tunes i just used my mp3 songs and put them on the sd card. it dint show upp on the wii...help?

  • Download iTunes and use it to convert your MP3 music files to AAC files. You probably have Photo Channel 1.1 which does not use the MP3 format anymore. The process is the same, just whenever I say "MP3" take it as "AAC"

  • wow tanks dude! 5/5 and subbed

  • Well Done!!!

  • ive have a question.i want to connect my wii in the internet, but my internet modem hasnt have an inalambric sistem or wifi i dont know. if i buy the cable to connect it, it has an entry to plug it onto the modem? where i can put it, in witch side or port?

    pleasee i need answers!!!!

  • I am not Nintendo Technical Support. Please contact Nintendo with these questions. I am not authorized or qualified to adequately help you.

  • ARE YOU USING A CANON PRINTER

  • YES

  • I KNEW IT XD!!!

  • The files will not stay on your Wii they remain on the SD card and cannot be copied over.

  • how do i put pics and othetr stuff onto my computer/??

  • wtf 60 not a slae they been 20 bucks normal price thne slaes are 10 bucks

  • wtas i photo

  • god all SD cards like that are same

    i got 50 of them

  • how to trasfer a video to youtube

  • ok... im not good with vids wit just talking.

how do u put pics on photo channel from computer i dont know how to save pics to my sd

  • lol i got my 2 gb sd for 20 bucks

  • but how do i put them from my wii to mac/pc

  • Register your computer as a Friend using an email address. Confirm the invitation on that email address then send a message with the photo attached to that email from the Wii.

The Photo will be sent to your computer as an email with the picture as an attachment.

  • thanks!

  • SWEEt now i got music on my wii

  • also when i drag and drop my music and my photos it just says that the device is not ready

  • If you are using a card reader you should have no problem and the card should appear in My Computer. I've never heard of that problem before and I'm unsure of how to fix it :(

  • where can i check in my computer if its read and write instead of the printer cause im not using the printer and i have a pc

  • Make sure the device that is reading the card has the read/write attribute on. Also make sure the card itself isn't physically locked. If you only see the shortcut something might be wrong because if you are using a Mac there should be no shortcut as Mac rarely uses shortcuts unless you specifically define one.

  • hey i need help on my sd card i got the wii onw for 1gb though when i put it on my computer i only have the shortcut and wont let me put photos or music

  • Dunno. Whatever the defaults are for this conversion I guess. See the Wii owner's manual.

  • sweet u rock!!!!!!

  • Safety freak lol jp

  • i have the latest update on the wii (v3.2u) and it says that i have to have m.4a files to listin to them on the wii

  • Yes sadly this video is no longer valid after that update. You'll want to do the same process except instead of MP3 you will use MP4

  • i saved photos from brawl to my sd card and i put the card in my pc but when i put it i cant view the pictures. help pls

  • I got a 1GB SD Card for the Wii for $15.00 at Wal Mart.

  • they riped you off, they are worth $5

  • We need information on how to transfer pictures FROM the Wii to the computer. Any help is apperciated.

  • Make sure you register a computer with your Wii via an email address. You can then post pictures from the Photo Channel to the Message Board. From the Message Board you can send the picture from the Wii to the computer as an attachment via email. I believe you can also directly send the image from the Photo Channel too.

  • Thanks.

  • Do you have GH3 (Wii)?

  • No I do not, sorry.

  • oh and the music too hehe im such a idiot ^_^

  • i got a wii recently and i've been tryin to find out how to get the pics on the SD card well i dont have a Vista or Mac and i dont have a SD card slot on my computer so is there any other way to get the pics?????? Plz help o_0

  • you could by a usb memory sd card slot its like 10 bucks

  • iyeah i finally found out how to do the sd thingy but i dont have the tools ill get the music i found out the rest :)

i can do the rest except music i know wat the materails are

  • I don't believe the Wii has any way of communicating with something other than Mac or Windows systems. If you're using something else like LINUX you're sadly on your own.

  • I can't get my Wii SD card to read on my computer is there anyway to fix that?

I'm using an HP with Windows Vista Home Premium.

  • It should show up. Make sure all your software is up to date, I've heard there are still many problems with Vista. Other than that I can't do much help as I don't use or support windows based conversions.

  • I can't get my SD card to fit in the Wii properly, as if it was too small or something.

  • Yes, some fit tight in the slot, I said this in the video. Don't force it in but if you are using a standard SD card it should fit.

  • cool

  • ty so much this helped alot 5*

  • Even thought I knew how to do it before watching your video, I just tought I'd say that your video is awesome. You talk really clearly and people know what you mean. Keep up the good work!

  • great i thought u could here the music elsewere then on the photo channel...

  • thanks alot man

best videos ive seen on this subject... it actelly helps you! :D

    cheers

  • in the video you didnt say where do the music goes on the sd like make a file and i have purched a wii a week ago so i need to use acc right

  • You can just put the files onto the SD card, no organizing required. They DO NOT need to be in folders like when using a PSP or a PS3. You need to check you Photo Channel version. Simply select it from the Wii Channels menu and it will prompt you to start. If you have 1.1 in the upper left corner of the screen use AAC if not use MP3.

  • kk thanks i have done it now

  • so it needs to be MP3 format only?

  • Use MP3 format if you are using the old Photo Channel 1.0. If you upgraded to Photo Channel 1.1 you NEED to use AAC format, contrary to what this video says.

  • Since iTunes has that "iTunes Plus" stuff now, does that mean we can use any files noted as Plus files on memory cards?

  • Yes, iTunes Plus songs will work. They have no DRM protection and have no conversion/copy limits. They should work without any problems. Remember, if you upgraded to Photo Channel 1.1 the MP3 format won't work, you need to use AAC format.

  • how do u do it with windows media player

  • You cannot do this type of conversion in the Windows Media Player. I currently don't support Windows based systems and do not intend to in the future. You will most likely need to buy the software package from Sony or use a program from the internet.

  • thanks

  • sweet, thanks.

  • thanks!

  • I have a 512 MB SD Card, is that compatible with the Wii?

  • Any normal SD card is compatible. The bigger the better but be advised some may fit in the slot kind of tight so be careful when removing them (especially the regular 1 and 2GB cards).

  • dude, ur awesome!

  • does it have to be 2 or 1 gb? I have 8 mb (which stinks)

  • No, any size will work. The bigger the card is usually better to have.

  • wow, thanks alot

  • This is great :)

  • Wow, thanks

  • Man, you´re good. It´s not only an mp3 class, but also some pc teachings. I study Systems Development, in Brazil. I wanna hear my mp3´s without using the Photo Channel... is it possible?

  • Yes, you can only use the Photo Channel to play music through the Wii. I am not aware of any other means of playing music through the console.

  • i got a 1GB SD card but when i put it in my pc nothing come up? i went to the start menu and checked "my computer" but it was nowhere to be found??? wut should i do and if i need to download something where do i do it?

  • Allot of things can go wrong here... Make sure the card is fully plugged in and actually reading, some light should go on. Wait a min then go to "My Computer." PC's have a nasty tendancy to not refresh their external drives. If you are using a Photo Printer to connect it might not work on a PC, or possibly the printer is not able to show the disk on your PC. Last resort, a (cheap) card reader should solve your problem and if it doesn't you can call the company and ask what is up.

  • DANG 30 DOLLARS!!!! I got a Kingston 2GB online for $15.00! you got wallet raped!

  • I've seen them cheaper too, I'm just a SanDisk person, and I trust them, since storage is their thing. If it is not too much trouble could you please post the web adress where you obtained that deal?

  • Ive been in the PC field 7 years.. trust me there is no diff on these cards.. well brand name cards like kingston, sandisk and etc.. only when it comes to RAM LOL... the deal I found was on "newegg dot com" ( it doesnt let me post a URL"... they have a 4GB Generic brand SD card for $19.00 right now! but its generic.. who knows why its only 19 bucks..

I found that sanding the card just a tad makes it fit nicely.. does void the warranty on your memory card!!

  • Yes, you can. Any size memory card will work just as long as it is an SD Card. The only thing is you need to be careful because, as I say in the video, the SD Card slot on the Wii is a bit small and some cards fit a bit tight and may be hard to pull out. Just be careful and don't force them in (or out).

  • can you use a 512MB SD card?
