Each brand has its atributes and is loved by its fans. I own a MB and a BMW, the bigger MB for long trips with passengers, the smaller BMW as my town car or when I just want to play. I must say the BMWs suspension is superative. It doesn't squat under acceleration, doesn't dive under braking, doesn't roll on cornering, goes across potholes and railway lines with barely a murmur despite large wheels and little sidewalls. The angled front uprights are quite different to any other car I've had.

Personally I would buy the 760, 12 cylinder. However this is a great business decision on the part of BMW. The hybrid market is hot and they have to get their share. I wish they offer a Diesel option for the 7 series (US market). I drove a 7 series Diesel in Germany and liked it a lot.
