  • Isnt she from seinfeld

  • wow, he can talk,lol!!

  • Boy... if she thought those pants were tight when she walked in... wait til they're wet!

    I can't! Kidding...

Biden has a great aim! -Great man too!

  • i love that man.(: delaware represent!

  • wow he changes his views when put under pressure. H was against gay marriage at the start. And this guy is helping to run our country,

  • OK just finished watching vp biden on ellen. i enjoyed immensly but did anyone see joe kissed the woman he had dunked.

  • That's actress Julia Louis-Dryphus (not sure of spelling though)

  • Oh, I am total gay marriage, Love is love, and no one should has the right to take that away.

  • @lloovvee111223344 In terms of civil rights I agree, but marriage is religious-based, and should not be decided upon by the government.

  • I swear he said no to gay marriage in the debate with Sarah Palin... Just say..

  • Why cant you just understand that a proposition is different! There, California voted yes for proposition because it not only houses young, creative and productive people, but old Americans who use it as a grave with a good climate. Those who were born with an instinct to love a person of their own gender will be treated differently even in the most liberate geography of this world. Happy now?

  • That's a very passionate statement. But when you read your comment, doesn't that contain the meaning of "there are people who's been raised that way and it's just the way it is, so accept it"

Proposition might be different from a occasional debate over dinners but the very nature I believe is the same. So even though proposition might be different, don't you think people should vote according to what they believe? If you prohibit change, how else is this world going to improve?

  • Just hear the guy. He makes sense,Period.

  • biden's a good shot!

  • wow!! O.o

    bye 7U

  • omg i hope obama wins

  • He says "Are you cold?" to Julia - what a sweet guy! :)

  • Why isn't anyone talking about the 11 billion a month in Iraq? That is not a correct number but regardless of that Obama says he will spend MORE in Afghanistan. So how is that going to help?

Does anyone know of a country that taxed it's way to prosperity? The cuts that are in place now from the current administration are going to expire and all of our taxes will go up. I just don't believe these guys.

  • oh shut up with your bullshit, the american people are sick of it. STOP WITH THE LIES OF THE REPUBLICANS and look at the LAST 8 YEARS! It can't get any worse but it can only get better with Obama.

Sorry for the rant people, im just sick of how ashamed I am to be american sometimes because of what dumb people we have here.

  • Really Jansen, you shouldn't hold things back. It's not good for the blood pressure. Tell us how you really feel...because I get the feeling that is how you deal with things. How you "feel" instead looking up facts.

The last eight years sucked in soooo many ways but it wasn't all Republicans. It was ALL of us. YOU, ME, EVERYONE!!!

  • Well, yes. Liberals weren't all saints. You're right about that. But I think Jansen along with the rest of America has some right to fault republicans. For falsely leading the nation into a war, costing so many lives of the children of thousands and thousands of families. Not to mention the economic burden that "YOU, ME, EVERYONE" were forced to share.

  • Go back and check the history of the last 20 years.

When we, as Americans, label ourselves and blame, we divide ourselves. I am scared to think we have become a country that is either for Libaugh or Moore!! I use those two just as an example because they are so opposite. I have to believe the majority are somewhere in the middle who think and are tolerant of their neighbors.

  • I dont think by voting NO on prop 8 you are saying you "support gay marriage" there are ways of getting your point across, the fact is prop 8 TAKES away a right that is already given to certain Californians, the way they are going about it is WRONG, its not that you support same sex marriage, its the whole equality idea, you CANT suddenly say your taking somebody's right away because you don't agree with it.

  • Which right are you talking about? California already voted about gay marriage and the judiciary overturned it. Duh. I love the comment about the china, she is so funny.

  • actually, Californian's voted on a marriage code, not an actual amendment and it was deemed unconstitutional, women didn't have the right to vote, it was deemed unconstitutional, African Americans didn't have the right to own property it was deemed unconstitutional, if a person walked into a public building and they told him you cant "come in here" because you are "gay" people would be up and arms about it .. but this is ok? funny.. just cuz it has passed doesn't make it right

  • Very good points. I think this issue goes deep into peoples emotional wiring and it is hard for someone on the "outside" to wrap their minds around it when it really should be quite simple. I think tolerence is the word of the day for this issue, on both sides.

  • very graceful reply. I know people keep bringing up the history of female equality, african-american equality, and such. I know some people say they're getting tired of gay people trying to throw their issues under the same category as those. But the truth is, it really is. We all agree (except for few psychos) that it is "unimaginable" nowadays if black people were not to be allowed to marry white people, but there was a time when it was perfectly "normal". Just like banning gay marriage today.

  • Well there you go. Joe Biden said in the debate he was against gay marriage but now that he is speaking with Ellen he is now for it. ??? Regardless of how you feel about the issue how can you discount the fact that these guys say whatever they think they should say for the person or the moment? No balls.

  • That is not entirely true. Senator Biden has said that there is "absolutely no distinction from a legal standpoint between a same-sex and a heterosexual couple" and supports civil unions between gay couples. He believes the definition of ~marriage~ is a faith based choice and does not support redefining it from the civil side of the law.

  • Semantics my dear. I have no problem with gay couples having the rights that married couples have. I think a lot of the problem is the semantics. Why must we call it marriage? Can someone please come up with a term that would mean the state of being united to a person of the same sex in a relationship like that of a traditional marriage? Then everyone would immediately know it was a "same sex marriage" without the word marriage. I'll be most would be ok with it and we can drop it!!

  • "Can someone please come up with a term that would mean the state of being united to a person of the same sex in a relationship like that of a traditional marriage?"

You seem to have an issue around the word "marriage". There is no separate but equal. That notion was abolished in a Supreme Court ruling in 1954.

Why (BE HONEST) do you find the use of the word "marriage" in reference to same sex couples offensive? Religionists have no patent on the word.

  • If you go back to the video of the debate and check, when Joe Biden was asked point blank "do you support gay marriage?", he said "no". That was the first word out of his mouth. He and Palin were in complete agreement about constitutional benefits of same sex couples but would not redefine the traditional definition of marriage. I think we should have a contest, maybe Ellen could do this, to come up with a nice word for same sex marriage. That could be fun and everyone would get what they want.

  • It's really all about the word marriage, which I think is so silly, call it marriage, call it same sex union, civil union, heck, call it cow dung for all I care. The thing I think is so silly is WHO CARES?! It is not going to hurt anybody but allowing equal rights for same sex couples. If anything, it helps our economy. It's just silly that this is even an issue when there are BIGGER things going on in the world and as usual voters are side tracked by silly things like this.

  • There are much bigger things but that doesn't mean people don't care. Shubael1809 cares. It's important to him and I wouldn't call that silly.
