if you get errors try ctrl+F5 windows 7 cannot do debug with certain codes running, F5 allows you to try it as if it were a build, should work

That's nice and all but you're not creating your very own media player object, you're only communicating with a media player object owned by Windows. Remember, this is not your own Media Player object!

Thanks dude, did it with a button on a menu strip instead... Anyway, it loads fine and everything, but don't MP4's work? Cause when I press play (On an MP4 file), the Media Player says...

"Send request for Codec.... " and about 10 seconds later "Error Downloading Codec" and then "...Ready!..." and that's all the Media Player does...

go up to the icon with 2 floppy dics and click. Enter all the info and hit save. Then go into the main folder of the project. Follow this path: [Project name here]|bin|debug|And then just click the .exe (application) file. If you have and problems PM me.

okay,this could help u.if u want that kind of file type,just type in this into the filter string :

Media files(*.mp3;*.wma;*.avi)|*.mp3­;*.wma;*.avi

note that u can change the root name "Media files" such as "video audio files" or any name that u've like.also bear in mind that the brackets,star signs and vertical bar should not be left in the filter string,that might cause u to an error. ;)
