The originals are, in my opinion, always the best. People make something good and then they try to expand on it totally changing it from what it once was. My question is "Why mess with success."Yu-Gi-Oh! has all this extra stuff added in GX, 5Ds, and Zexal, so why do they add the Yu-Gi-Oh! to the title, it doesn't even include Yugi anymore. I think that they should have just ended it at the end of Yu-Gi-Oh! Dual Monsters. Most of the stories and themes in the later versions are shown earlier.

@storm09909 there is a new slight focus in the boycott. If you go to tournouments, try to win them using old school cards, you can by new packs if you want because they come with old school cards like kunai with chain. Just trade away the new cards and use old school cards.

If you are in, don't buy the new cards, don't watch, the new series, use only oldschool cards, tell other to do this, and have them tell others to do this as well. If all yugioh fans unite, 4kids will fall! IF you don't like something you change it!

@MrSailor23 Sorry to rain on your parade, but you realize the show (5Ds) and the cards are owned by different corporations right? Konami owns the cards... 4kids only has licensing rights. Hence I don't think you'd be accomplishing much by boycotting the cards. Personally I feel that Synchro summons are an interesting and innovative mechanic to the game, regardless of whether my deck spams it or not. (I use Hopeless Dragon/Formula Monarch)

They basically dub animes and censor anything they find 'isn't child friendly' such as Cigarettes, guns, ANYTHING to do with Japan etc. And make openings in english because they can't stand japanese stuff.
