  • The narration sounds so seventies.

    Those shorts are 80's hahaha!!

  • Stupid. A regular paddleboat is much cheaper, and gives you better visibility, better portability, everything.

  • The music ruins this video!!

  • For $3k I want to see the propulsion. Is it a cheap 'tourist' mechanism or is it a decent-quality setup? Can you interchange higher-performance parts?

    What's the top speed?

  • Are they available in San Diego ?

  • @unitedstatesdale Yes, these boats are available about any where! We drop ship them directly from the factory here in Michigan. If you are interested in seeing a boat, we have an owner/agent who will be able to show you a boat locally. Let us know!

  • I agree. Nice, but no way I would pay that much. You can find a used regular boat for that price. A 4-5 person pedal boat from $400-1000.

  • Whatever happened to oars, cheap, simple and efficient...

  • Of course, using a pair of oars would be out of the question? Simple and efficient. Cheap too...

  • @tigertonten oars are not nearly as efficient as pedaling.

  • I want a pedal boat! And a recumbent bicycle

  • These are really neat but they are kind of expensive for what you get. $3,000 + options is a bit steep. I could really go for one if it was in the $ 2,500 range out the door. I know it's expensive to make stuff and you have to keep the doors open but I just don't see $3,500 + out the door worth here. You could sell many more if you could get the price down. As neat as it is, it falls into the toy category and $3,500 is pretty high for that.

  • @shananagans5 #

I understand your hesitation due to the price, but it really isn't a toy like other boats similar to it are. It really is a serious watercraft with alternate means of propulsion from conventional crafts. There are many octane free lakes which are large enough to use a boat but too small for a larger electric boat, and that is our niche. Thanks for the comments though! Always good to hear everyone's thoughts!

  • That guy sounds like Phil Hartman from an SNL skit.

  • dont flip it

  • are you guys considering making a enclosed model for rougher waters?

  • I would love to have one of these ! whats the load capacity ?

  • The load capacity for the Escapade is 3 persons and 525# persons and gear. The Encore P has a load capacity of 900# 4 persons and gear.

    Thanks so much!

  • I know they do look happy don't they?!

  • throw a little electric motor in that , knockout the windshield and im in!

  • I looked these up, and if I remember correctly, these things are like 3 grand! What a waste of money!

  • Looks like it is going super slow.

  • lol 4:25

  • you're right!

  • this guy is wrong it doesnt take planning for boating. we just get bored and take the boat out

  • yuk!! thats one chunky boofy ugly boat...

  • How do i get one?

  • You might try Google, then type in Nauticraft, then search. Just a suggestion.
