wait a sec, if Saturn have a magnetic field, is this mean than its have a solid ground? because, the only way than i know to have this is by the movement of the magma who go in 2 different speed caused by the break who made the ground...
Wait a minute, if Saturn has a magnetic field, then it must have an "iron" core or something alike our own planet. Which also means that Saturn must have a rocky or solid surface unlike it is currently believed. Also, there has been reports of lightning in Saturn's atmosphere, just like here on earth. I know the atmospheric pressure is what keeps us from sending a rover there to explore the planet's surface, but why can't we build one? We sent one down Mariana trench.
@saquist Right, but you would think from all those billions of dollars we tax payers kindly donate why can't they build something to penetrate the atmosphere and withstand the immense pressure? We have the materials, carbon/titanium alloys, and other composite materials which are light and incredibly strong and efficient. We have the tech, just not the will or desire I guess. Perhaps the will is motivated by false hopes of life elsewhere.

It does have a core, it doesn't have to be molten in order to create a magnetic field. I am pretty sure its a solid core just like every other planets.
Yes they have looked using solar observatories. Considering we can detect the static electrical discharges between Jupiter and Io from Earth, the one powering the sun would be easy to detect. The sun doesn't have a consistent magnetic field. Probes have shown that also.
They only just discovered the magnetic ropes (birkeland currents) jointing the Sun to the earth. (See NASA Themis mission.)
The sun is freaking massive. How would they even have the faintest clue what sort of currents flow into the poles of the sun?
And the sun does have a consistent magnetic field, if it did not then earth could not have one. Since we sit in it's field. And it definitely has a consistent magnetic field when compared with that of a nuclear reaction. (which is none at all.)
The the earth is relatively solid compared to the sun, which has currents of plasma generating the magnetic field that's why. Get a clue.
This is an external electric current from elsewhere in the galaxy, and it isn't there. Don't forget this current would have to be in the region of 380 billion, billion megawatts. It would be easy to detect if it existed.
It requires an anode and cathode. Plus it flows negetive to positive, and energy in a circuit travels close to the speed of light. The protons and electrons flowing from the sun travel at just a few million kph. You haven't a clue.
Oh definately. Because any spectrometric measurements you took within the span of 30 years would definitely prove to be a substantial and statistically relevant dataset from which a trend could be conclusively drawn a trend. Never mind that the sun by your own hypothesis is 4.5 billion years old. I.e. has been going for 8 orders of magnitude longer than your dataset.
"Rubbish. A sustained reaction has never been achieved."
That's because the sun has far higher pressure at its core than we can generate on earth. But the fact we can do it at all proves fusion works. You have no proof.
Where is your proof that there is no electric current powering the sun? This is among that category of ridiculous unscientific statement that astronomers make all the time. It really makes you think. Dispite the great distance Saturn is from the Sun it still is greatly influenced by it. It makes one belive in the fact that 99% of the formation of the Solar System went into forming the Sun and that the remaing formed everything else. To use an analogy the Sun would be the dough and the left over flower would form the planets, moons, asteroides, and comets.

ytmoog 2 years ago

Invisible undetectable matter which is heavy. Invisible pink elephant matter.
Individualism101 2 years ago
@Individualism101
Electric Universe theory is completely wrong. There is no electric current powering the sun. Without this the entire theory falls apart.
jedisenior 2 years ago 2
Do you actually have any evidence or are you guessing?
And by equal measure, there is no known physical mechanism by which you can derive a consistent magnetic field from a ball of nuclear fusion.
