Actually, the South fired on American troops before Lincoln even take office, much less order supplies. And when he finally did take office, there's nothing untoward about ordering supplies to an American fort. It happens every day, in fact.

The South was mainly a farming community. The North was mainly industry. The South did not want the North running their affairs, because they felt they were better able to manage themselves.
Slavery was doomed anyway, rightfully, whether it was Black or White. It would have gone, but in the natural course of a society developing.
By forcing the issue, and telling others how to live it created resistance, which is still here today.

John Wilks Booth, only made it worse for the South. Lincoln, was int he process of reconstructing the South. He was saddened by damage that was done to the South and wanted to right wrongs. He wanted to bring America, back together. But once again, onewho does not read or do research, stopped that dream. I guess in your eyes he would be a hero?

exactly, that is why he gave such generous surrender terms to Lee. Lincoln wanted America to be United, he wanted freedom for all, he wanted true liberty. Lincoln was of the common man.
