It works with crossfire enabled? I'm asking because i`ve a crossfire of HD 5770 and failed. I connected as follows: One 22 `lcd using DVI to HDMI adapter and the other two CRTs in both DVI ports.

@V8Project I'm not sure about crossfire but you cant use all 3 monitors in eyefinity unless one of them is connected to the displayport.. a passive displayport to VGA adaptor is the cheapest way...

There is nothing wrong with using CRTs dude. I stil use them and I'm not poor lol. I have never found an LCD that I like. Even the top range monitors that cost a grand do not come close to my Viewsonic CRTs that I've had for 5 years. One day my Viewsonics will die of old age :( but I've got two spare unboxed in my loft ha ha. Anways nice setup :D

I also have 3CRT setup and it's great. There is no better image quality anywhere else than on CRT. LCD isn't even close. Just calibrate those monitors to be closer. Also, it's better to have them at 100Hz. I have 3x755DFx on 100Hz and 3072x768. Runs great, looks great and only costed 50 usd :D :D.

But why do i need a screen with a native display adapter when i want an eyefinity setup with 3 displays? I can just conect 2 displays with the 2 DVI ports of the HD5850 and use a display port to DVI adapter right?

just do this on one huge tv.. you can kind of emulate eyefinity. Click my name to see sample.. will save you so you don't ever have to buy 3 flat screens.

Dude, who's laughing ? Late gen' CTR's produce a great quality image. Sure they have their asthetic disadvantages, but they're cheeaap. Nice one.

Just use DP to VGA adaptor then. Can get them for £12 on eBay and they work perfectly with Eyefinity :D

It CAN work after you figure out the quirks but it can be very difficult until you do. I can't seem to paste links here so google Successful 3 Monitor Eyefinity and the first page that should come up is from Widescreen Gaming Forum.. click it and theres your information :)

yes it will and don't buy an active displayport to dvi adapter it will work but it's expensive buy a displayport to vga instead it's about 100 dollars cheaper
