yes his speed is ultimate bt there are guys out there with great speed wat sets him apart is the fact that he can take 2 steps and be in top speed already, he's ability and speed of cuts its out of this world he doesnt need 5 yrds after the cut to get to top speed he needs 1 and he's at his top speed

People always talk about Best's speed, but it's his footwork & vision while going through the tackles that makes him special. And yes, he was playing hurt last year: had foot and elbow surgery immediately after the season. Charles Scott of LSU is projected as a first day NFL draft RB. To give you an idea of how good Best is, he had more yards and TD's against Washington on his first carry than Charles Scott had the entire game! Best had 311 ru yds, Scott had 52!!!
