If I'm going to believe something, like the video says, I have to be reasonably convinced of it's truthfulness. The only thing I'm convinced of as far as Christianity goes is that a ton of people really, really, really believe it is true, but I see no correlation between reality and Biblical claims.
I can sympathize with this video, as I was just talking to a friend today who is "choosing" to "believe" because of Pascal's wager.
However, I cannot just choose to believe something, at least not wholeheartedly. I do not believe because there are no compelling reasons to believe. I cannot choose to believe because the claim has a threat attached to it. What good is a halfharted believer? I cannot just choose to believe in Zeus anymore than I could choose to believe in Jesus.
