This is a great sing that either record in Camp Ban Vie Nia or Nam Ponk (not sure of the spelling). Yeah, I still got a copy of those olden songs in cassette. From what I heard back in the day, his g/f got married to another person, thats how this song come about.
Love to hear more olden songs...

hey, he later formed Kaab Nkaus Vaas band. i remember growing up listening to a mint green cassette released in 1979. this is a much older recording.
thank you for posting this up! i've been telling people that lis pov is not the original singer (he covered the song almost a decade later) but nobody believed me except those who have heard the original.

I got the 1975 version :D It's still on cassette, maybe someday I'll put it on CD when I have more time.
