What's wrong with Mario? They're good games, albeit they might be overmilked at this point. The 3D super mario Land was a good game, aside from extremely annoying things that they have. I can't wait for the Zelda and Metroid games that are coming out...and I hope that the rumors I've been hearing of new franchises from Nintendo being true as well. That would be cool if new stuff were to finally come. XD

This really isn't surprising, to be honest. And the sad thing is, it isn't exciting either. As previously stated, Mario has been milked to death. It's a dead series, it's not going anywhere new, and nothing revolutionary is going to come from them. I mean, they haven't done anything NEW for quite some time, and I haven't been impressed with a Mario game since Superstar Saga. That's an awfully long time for a series to be unimpressive...

As long as gameplay mechanics are different from each game, the fact that there's a Mario name attached to it doesn't matter. Mario Tennis is not the same as New Super Mario Bros.
