YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I rode this for the first time this year and it was probably better than the Spiderman ride! I loved the fast rollercoaster part. But I lost my hat on it though... :p

when u stay at the hotels on the premises u get free fast passes with ure key card and i feel like i missed so much of the ride by not waiting on the regular line and taking the fast pass line cause the regular line seems so much cooler

The mummy is pretty memorable to me. My brother tricked me on going on it when I was 6. Haha I was wearing little heel sandals so I was tall enough! Oh yeah the atmosphere of the line waiting is super creepy but at least you're surrounded by tons of ppl lol

My friends literally tried to drag me into that ride, but halfway through the little trail in the beginning they abandoned me and started running. I had to chase them because they left me alone with no one around and I was seriously gonna crap my pants.

I live in Florida and am going to USO very soon, the Mummy is my favorite ride in the park. It starts off as a dark ride, with very detailed and high-tech animatronics and special effects. The coasters use a state of the art bullet train system, making the ride incredibly smooth. You go backwards, and then are launched at high speed uphill (this is the rollercoaster part). The ride is a coaster only about 1/3 of the time, but it has it's surprises and is super fun. No upsidedown or barrel rolls

This video doesn't really show the ride in too much detail and makes it very confusing, but I recommend doing a YouTube search for "revenge of the mummy". The first video that shows up (by a user "OnRideVideos") is the best I've seen so far. To answer your question in short, yes it is a rollercoaster, yes it has drops, no upside down, no barrel rolls, and yes you'll have a good time. I hope I've helped, have fun at Universal!

I went on this with friends 10 times in a row, the little worker guy said thats a for him (: lol but on like th 8th or 9th time the ride broke down at the screeching bug part after the lights shut off. It was so freakin scary but eventually it went. Thankfully.

I remember I was selected along with a few dozen others to test this ride about a week before the official opening, got to go round like 5 or 6 times! it broke down a couple of times which was hilarious including one time when we in the fire pit stuck with the flames on for like 5 mins and another time on the roller coaster bit in the dark, it had come to a complete stop in the dark and then had to slowly role all the way back to the start before restarting lol!

The 1st time I went on this ride I was wicked freaked bc you couldn't see the track. I got over it when I sat down. Then I had another freaked moment almost at the end when the ride stops. I started to get up and I am so skinny that I could fit through the thing that holds you down. I stood up while all of a sudden it starts to go backward and I was thrown forward. Thanks to the two guys next to me I survived, they grabbed and pulled me down. It was scary cool. Learned to wait for full stops.

lol, the last time i went on the mummy it got stuck right under the ceiling of fire part. We were stuck for about 10 min. it was SO hot! and it smelled of gas really bad, we all thought we would pass out then burn. Not a good memory...
