  • I love this song. Like the other people here, I do not understand why it did not become a top ten hit. I guess if we all ran out and bought a copy, it might have been.

  • How can someone not like this song? Such emotion and meaning.

  • This is a Great One, 1966, I Beleive.

  • What a beautiful song- I haven't heard this in ages- just heard it on an internet oldies station out of San Diego, CA.

  • Heard this song twice on a station that really does obscure stuff, but didn't have a title or artist name. Researched site after site for obscure 60's songs, then stumbled into it here. A huge thank you for uploading this fantastic song !!

  • ROTFLMAO.....listening to this again after my post; I was 8 when I last heard the song in 1972. I thought she was singing:

"UNTIL I DIE, UNTIL I DIE..........(come share the good times with me)"

  • OMG! I have looked for this song many times in the past, took a chance again.....here it is!

My parents had this recordI (I was only 2 when it was recorded) and later became part of my collection, as well as their Herb Alpert and Englebert Humperdinck albums. For me it was an alternative to the Parttridge Family. I still have those but somehow Julie got seperated from the flock and lost almost 4 decades ago.

Brings back memories of simpler and happier times. Thank you!

  • I'd kill to be able to download this. What happened to this singer. Love debby boone's rendition as well........

  • Sounds more like Petula Clark.

  • WoW...a Lost one...haven't heard this since 1966, Now I remember WHY I liked it back then. It sounds just as Good now. A Classic. Thanks.

  • One of the best "forgotten" songs of the sixties. This song and "Early in the morning" by the Tokens are both overlooked great songs, in my opinion.

  • cool. thanks

  • I have not heard this song since July of 1966 when it was a blip on the music radar. I did not know who sang it, or the title. it has remained with me ever since. Incredible song! This leaves 4 obscure songs left. The search goes on.

  • What other songs are you looking for? Maybe I can help.

  • Actually this single spent four weeks on the WKNR charts and peaked at #14. It's an absolutely stupendous record and yes, Julie Monday's appearance on "Swingin' Time" was definitely wonderful. Why she disappeared after this great record remains a mystery. She should have been a huge success.

  • @MikeBlitzMag

Mike you are correct- It was 4 weeks, my mistake. It came and went so fast I only remembered the 1st 2 weeks.

    Thank you for the correction

  • All the while, I thought this song was composed by Joe Brooks for "If Ever I See You Again". The only known version in Asia

is the one recorded by Debbie Boone now

almost forgotten. The last time I heard the

version of Ms Boone was 31 years ago

when I was only 14. The melody continued

to haunt me until I heard this in Youtube.

In a way, this version is not inferior to that

of Debbie Boone. The tempo is much

faster but the sentimenal touch is not lost.

  • Thanks; I haven't heard the later versions!

  • Thank you, I never heard the original. I knew only the versions (titled "Come Share My Love") by Robert Flack and Debby Boone.

  • So great to hear this again! I loved this song in the summer of 1966 and wondered why it wasn't a top 10 hit...instead it barely scratched the Hot 100 chart for 3 weeks. It perfectly captured the times. Where oh where is Julie Monday.

  • Thanks for the info and comment! Such a lost treasure. I'll post the great flip side too in due course. I don't drive a Detroit car though!

  • Hi eameece - this spent 2 weeks on the WKNR music guide list here in Detroit in 1966. Julie lip-synched this on "Swingin' time" a local Windsor Ontario show back then. Rainbow was a Detroit Co. There was a follow-up I never heard. Great record - We loved it in 1966 and now!!!

Hit position no. 100 on Billboard.
