Would have been great to do a sequel in the 90s. But now it has been more than 15 years. That is a huge gap between a movie and its sequel. And now that Whitney and Gregory are gone, I doubt this movie will be made. Whitney, much like Michael Jackson, was on the verge of what would have been a tremendous comeback when she passed on. She was working on music and getting back into movies. Doesn't seem right for her to not be here. An amazing talent she was. She will be missed.

Gregory Hines was a classic performer. My favorite performance of his : "Subway Stories". He had one word, but the emotion was raw. May he rest in peace. Thank You Miss Loretta !!!!!!!!!! A class act herself. Her performance in "Color Girls" was tops !!!!!!!!

I think this film is the reason why she's voluntarilty entered out patient rehab. I mean, it makes since to me. She knows she's gonna be under intense pressure, scrutiny, "how does she look, how does she sound." I say good for her because she knows who she is and she knows that when taking on intense stress, anything could happen! Good for her, I'm proud of her, praying for her, and rooting for her!

I think Whitney doing it was supposed to be a secret and Fox making a big announcement about her return, that's why Loretta and Terry McmIllan are not talking about her. But Angela kinda ruined those plans.... It's obvious with how Loretta started to walk away that she is not supposed to talk about Whitney...
