  • nicely done

  • i am a filipino and i cook adobo very often maybe 3 times a week but when i saw your chicken pot bbq its pretty much simillar this would be a version of my sweet adobo but i tried putting cayenne powder and spanish paprica to this recipe of yours then man!!!! i had a big problem after serving it to our family reunion i cooked 15 kilos of this recipe of yours putting a blend to it then all my relatives wants this recipe. thanks bbq master...ohh and by the way i am one of your biggest fan...

  • i just ate 4 minutes ago, a lot!! but as usual the pit boys have made me hungry again!!!!

MAN, that looks gurrd. Can you smell that?

  • I've made this recipe twice now, and there is one problem with it: we never have any leftovers! Man, I can't wait to do it again this weekend!

  • My Filipino girlfriend made something very similar to this, just as someone have allready mentioned its called Adobo

  • The religion of the barbecue. Amen brother!

  • This looks delicious but somehow it is very similar to the FILIPINO ADOBO RECIPE.... thanks for this wonderful post

  • @PinoyXposed keep 3rd world country pinoys out of this wonderful video plz

  • @kny4eva you racist pig! you should be grilled by the bbq pit boys

  • ni99a stole my chicken thigh!!

  • I love how amazing grace is in the background!

  • what the hell, this is hella adobo hahaha its cool though, i like it

  • it aint adobo man, if u think this is adobo some one was lying to u

  • Its basically adobo "man" its just a different way to cook it, similar ingredients, and theres a variety of ways to prepare adobo chicken, regardless the name or who makes it. The dish is from an influence of American, Arab, Portuguese, Spanish, and Filipino in a long history of trading imports and cuisine. Thanks for your concern for my statement though, I feel touched.

  • idk man ive never seen adobo made like that n i have tryed a lot of adobo, the only ingredients i have seen used in adobo in this vid is is the vinegar and soy sause everything else point a different direction and thats a lot of soy and not enough vinegar

  • Hmmmm , ... Hungry or what ?

looks er GOODDD. Man ... You smell that ?

    HA HA HA ...

    good job

  • that looks awesome, lmao theres the dude that always comes outta the bush fer a taste lol u guys r great

  • Wow! This recipe looks very similar to Chicken Adobo. Thankd BBQ Pitboys for sharing this video.

  • did he actually show his face this time? Heh. That looks so good. It was also good to see the comraderie at the end of the clip. Good stuff.

  • chicken adobo!!!!

  • First time ive seen someone throw eggs in there.. must be good..

  • These guys are awesome!!! They can cook ANYTHING on the grill it seems. I like how they keep things simple though.

  • This Guy is GOOD...[Who the hell is Bobby Flay????]

  • What a great recipe!!! This will be perfect for me, I work outside alot and don't always have time to stand over the grill. My husband will especially love the eggs, I would have never thought of that!

    Thanks for sharing!

  • this is filipino adobo grilled in between simmering....its good stuff.

  • ur soo right... that is soo adobo... lol!

  • Hahaha, I was just thinking that too! Mmmm, can't go wrong with that though! Yum!

  • looks so good!

  • i thought this was bum fights

  • i got to try this but not sure about the eggs. cant you get salmonella?

  • he kept the eggs for like an hour in that heat, pretty sure they are hard boiled and there's no risk of salmonella.

  • I'd be more worried about getting salmonella from poorly cooked chicken thighs than the eggs. I don't think there's much risk of ether in this case.

Might have to try this in a dutch oven. looks pretty tasty.

  • The bbq gets hotter than a stove top. I don't think there's any danger of undercooked chicken.

  • This question seems ridiculous...

  • going to make this as soon as I get me a pot like that.

  • your neighbors downwind must have been going nuts! :)

  • been away for awhile, thanks for all the new recipes

  • yah, adobo, skål. det samger godt. cheers!

  • adobo. woohoo!!

  • wow, I'm cooking your recipe on the bbq at the moment & my daughter keeps sneaking the sauce out of the pot while its cooking, it's obviously very good, she is fussy!! Big ups to you guys, I'll be subscribing 2nite...keep up the great work!

  • I love the narration on these shows.

  • I like your videos. Instructions are all easy to follow. Thank you for teaching.

  • Everything you used is the same ingredients for adobo.

  • I'm tellin You!!!!, you guys need to be on TV, cable or something!!!!!, keep up the damn good work. We are going to do a big ass BBQ at Camp Delmar at Camp Pendelton Ca, and you guys recipes (plus my own, I can throw-down too) are gonna head-line right next to the ice cold beer.

    Semper Fi Boy's!!!!!!

  • Ummm...yummy~!!!! Barbecue flavour stew chicken~

  • Between 3:51 and 4:01 the pot moved in the grill. What's going on there? When and why did you move to indirect heat?

  • What kind of knife are you using?

  • Ive found myself a chinese $5, bit smaller

  • It's an Old Hickory Carbon Steel Butcher (asked the same question lol)

  • That there is a man's knife

  • KNIFE??!!

it looks more lke a machette!

  • I love your voice. o.o

  • oh man... i'm gettin' hongry already!

  • BBQ Pit Boys, Nice Job. Look forward to trying this recipe. Bob, glad to see you're breaking in the new grill...( background ). Saw you all using it in the end of the video. Awesome !

  • I just put the dishes away after making this tonight...

Neither the rain, nor the 38 degree temps here in Michigan could stop me !

Anyhow, gotta tell you that this came out fantastic !

The meat just fell off of the bone...so tender and juicy. I went with baked potatoes instead of the rice, and it went great with the gravy on top.

Tasted fantastic ! I am major-stuffed right now after crushing 3 of those bad boys. Next time, I wanna add some heat to it I think.

Great recipe and thanks again !

  • '' i have to apologize right now but emm..... MMMMMHHHMMMMMM ''

  • I happen to stop by the "pit" right after this was cooked and got to taste this dish hot off the grill....Let me tell you the chicken was out of this world and the eggs....a whole new meaning to eggs! Glad I popped in, thanks for sharing the grub! As always, the good ole home time "pit" at it's best!

  • I envy you

  • A chicken in every pot! DEEELICIOUS!!!!!

  • WOW!!!!

  • :-O

    That looks good!

  • Filipina adobo rediscovered?

  • I'm eating barbecued chicken as I'm watching this video. How ironic. GREAT STUFF AS ALWAYS!

  • Hmmm.. Soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, bay leaf and garlic? Sounds like someone's making the classic Phillipino dish Chicken Adoboe on the grill :). Never thought to cook it outside on the grill, but the flavor is amazing when it's marinaded at least overnight.

  • I just made a similar comment not realizing you made it. My badd!! On a side not, "Philipino" is w/out the "H". And also when you are talking about the culture, you use Pilipino. And when you are talking to someone who is, its Filipino.

  • hmm nice i always wanted to use Vinegar on meat but never knew what works ( until now)

  • Sounds like Adobo with more sugar. Looks great.

  • I love this guy.

  • Man, you smell that? smells goooood.

  • You're a genius, Bob.

  • I'll be arriving in my bear suit shortly.

  • lol

  • Warning: Do not watch this video after midnight. You will get all hungry and a watering mouth and cant get the grill out!

    That looks so good

  • Does breast meat cook in the same amount of time? and would you add any other ingredients if using white meat?

  • you fellas make great bbq way too easy. thanx guys

  • My mouth is watering! I'm definitely making this!!!!

  • "....full of flavor... in fact, let me apologize right now right in front of you.... i'm gonna taste it a little bit.........HMMMMM-hmmm! Man, that's guuuuuud!"

  • Tastes guuuuuuud!

  • Oh I smell that!!!! It smells gooood!!!!!

  • amazing, great job as usual

  • I was watching this video and didn't realize I was drooling the entire time. Man those look good!

  • Looks great! I will HAVE to make this one!

  • Lookin Guuuuud!!!!!!!

  • It looks pretty good, for some reason I have been thinking that would also be a pretty good chicken soup with some vegetables added to it and the eggs cracked and mixed in

  • I like your taste in music :P

  • I love you Pit Boys!!! Everything you guys make makes my mouth water...
