Guys which Foot file do you suggest. The sand paper type files are c**p. If I use a foot file, with a steel mesh will that over time make the sole more rougher - well so i've heard. I've used CCS & Scholl creams & other remedies but they're useless. Since the past 6 days I've been filing my feet & soaking them in water for abt 15 mins & then running a pumice stone over them. Then I applied Boots own brand foot cream (cracked heel balm) and at night wrap feet in carrier bag. Instant soft feet

Feet get hard because you wear shoes and don't get rid of dead skin. If you walk bare foot a lot they become like leather.

Dead skin has nothing to do with it. Thats why we wash our socks and bedcovers, because dead skin constantly falls off if you wear clothing or not. People who walk barefoot all the time have very healthy feet (especially if they walk outside) because they place less pressure on their soles and because constant scraping causes toughening of skin a lot like scar tissue or muscle tissue after microtearing.

Search "You walk wrong", it explains a lot of stuff that even I, as a doctor, didn't know.

that foot file only works when you basically have little or no calluse!!! for heavier amount of calluse, you'd have to use a razor... that's what i do
