I don't care what people say about this song, it's a really nice little piece of music. The lyrics may be childish but he was writing to a toddler at the time, so the lyrics are intentionally childish. Also, his vocals are sublime, and the "thank you for your smile, you make it all worthwile" line is probably the most touching line in any Oasis song.
