ele shaman dps is horrible. tier 10 set bonus is useless. The only good gear is cloth cause there is no good mail dps caster gear compared to the cloth gear.

Shaman can be extremely fun when you get geared and experienced. Although it has a much higher learning curve than paladin and less survivability due to class mechanic. Paladin can hit like a truck too and has more survival but in my own experience it can get to feel a little dull after a while.

Chain lightning is not actually a part of your single target rotation, lightning bolt scales with spell power better then chain lightning, the faster cast of chain lightning also becomes less worth it when you got a lot of haste ( i have 950 with the totem of electrifying winds going) the higher your sp and haste go, the further CL goes from being a dps increase

No.. In a raid there will most likely be around 5 targets. That and chain lightning is a big part of the dps rotation. It has a lower cast time than lightning bolt.
your Dps is 6K on 4 targets , i do 6K damage of 1 target lol. Make a video and you lose 1-2K . I hate noobs that always mean ohh 7K dps and than they attack 4 target wtf -.-

last night i used my fire nova on the bosses in icc 25 dont hurt anything and i do use chain lighting on single targets too and my dps is 8k.....

Stop using chain lighting. By using it, you are artificially inflating your DPS because it is hitting more than just the level 80 dummy.

B) You're not keeping flame shock up when you're doing lava burst.
C) You wouldn't be using nova on boss DPS
