I agree with your side on hype, but all I have to say is if the shoe looks good on me I'm going to get it, I could care less what other people are wearing! I remember I bought a pair of Osiris shoes on sale for 20 bucks and I got a lot of compliments. Right there, its not about the hype or what the shoe is, its all about if you make them work. Anyone can get a pair of Supras, but only a few can make them work if you know what I mean.
