For compositions featuring violet, try: Guerlain Insolence, Lolita Lempicka, Serge Lutens Bois de Violette, Guerlain Attrape Coeur, Guerlain Apres L'Ondee.

And don't miss out trying Balenciaga Paris, because it might exactly fit the bill for you. It's a very fresh, green violet, which is appealing if you don't like your violets candy sweet.

One little request...can u recommend a cologne for my teacher? He's a 40-year-old smoker. But, he always has that nice tobacco mixed with sandalwood, sea water, musk and cedar wood smell. I'm pretty sure he doesn't like fruity notes, and... usually (to me) he smells like a mature business man. What might be a good cologne for a physics teacher like him?

@LuvCatz905 omg, you've got to get him a bottle of Molecule 01 by Escentric Molecule - perfect for a physics teacher! Plus, it's a low-key cedar wood/sandalwood scent that he should go for. The shtick with Molecule 01 is that it's comprised on only one ingredient: Iso E-Super, an aromachemical that appears in many fragrances as a supporting note, but here is the one-man show. Wearers report that they are often swooped upon by people demanding why they smell so good!

But now I am going to try them both again since this is your recommendation. You probably know better than me! I know a lot of guy reviewers do like the EDT version.

I think you should get your father Molecule 01 by Escentric Molecules. It's very a clean and clear cedar/sandalwood smell, and it's not too strong. And it seems to be universally loved - it has a rep for being a smell that gets you followed down the street.
