@doberfag ..I almost bought a '71 Stingray--350..4speed until I drove it...Man that was a hard ride..even for a 19yr old petrol head..!..lol...and a Jap Chev 350....May be that's why it has oval bores...lmao.
wow, that piston clearence is massive, you could almost say it was the wrong size piston, i.e rebored in one pot and chuck the standard piston in

Looks like it's had quite a bit of work done to it along the way. It's a nice looking car..definitely worth fixing and shining up again.
