I love this song, brings me pleasure as well as pain. The man I was in love with sang this to me on a very special evening. He said that this song was ours. He killed himself in 1992 in Kingston Ontario. I miss him every day. Every time I hear this song it reminds me of him.
I love Trooper and this is my all time favorite song of theirs but i've got to say they suck live. I saw them about 3 years ago and it was the worst show i ever saw.
It's all about exposure and getting out. At the time if there was the internet I'm sure it would reach a larger audience. The most talented musicians and song writers don't always get the recognition they deserve, especially in todays music industry...whatever that is...
omg! I can't believe I found this video! This is one of the most beautiful rock ballads EVER. I married a Canadian 4 years ago and before he left his country, he played this song to me on one of my trips to Ontario. There are no words to express how deeply I am touched by this song.
I love this song, the band and everything but McGuire looks extremely bored loll
