Ok the picture with the dead piglets is a tad misleading. I know plenty of people who raise show and meat hogs and they say its very common to lose 1-3 piglets per litter. Most of the time the mother herself will kill them by sitting on them or refusing to feed one because she can't handle that many. Slaughter houses are also not allowed to slaughter any animal that cannot walk onto the kill floor under it's own power. It cannot be assisted in any way. Packing plants are strict on this now.
