I did see 27:17-19, which claims that ants speak in a highly sophisticated, poetic language, that they can distinguish military personnel in a magical army from other people or animals, and that ants contemplate the awareness of other creatures.

I don't know of any scientific studies that support any of those claims. DO YOU?

Their "ants_do_talk" article debunks the Quran with it's source: The ants can't even distinguish their own queen from a caterpillar. Ants are nearly blind, but Quran 27:18 suggests they can recognize specific humans at a distance! LMFAO!!
