Assalamu alaikkum, Certainly the tabligh jamat is really a wonderful process of doing the Islah activity. Any good process, since it is created by humans is not free from shortcomings. I've been to many tabligh jamat's and one thing i noted from there is that they give immense importance to books like Fazail-e-amal and have their own books in knowing the concept of Eman which is good if it matches with Quran and Hadith. But the importance is given more to such books than the greatest Quran

What about their methode as a bida'h? Is the simply fact that it is a structured dawah that it is a bida'h? Oh Rassullallah (salalahu aleyhi wa salaam) didn't so, nor the sahadah! Ok! Well did He or the Sahabah (salalahu aleyhi wa salaam) send people to learn Islam to the University, doing test, exams and then a diploma or degree? Secondly mr talafi i have read a number of works of sheikh Bin Baz and he has never stated tablighi's are deviated in fact he has said you can go on tabligh. I dont blame this molana saab for his ignorance. My advice for him is to go out with the jamaat and spend time with them and correct himself instead of throwing advice. This ummah is far behind its agenda and its not so easy to bring them back. I admire tabligh's hikmah's and the work because the way they are doing is the way of prophet (saw) and wihtout dividing the ummah into any further sect then it already is :)

Why are you peole trying to see this as something negative? Allama saheb is not against the tablighi effort. He has actually been in jamaat with the founder of this effor hazrat Maulana Ilyas (ra).

All he is sayng is that after people start to practise islam then afterwads they have to gain some knowledge aswell.

Yes,Tablighi Jamat's work is full of Hikmat which is not easy to understand from outside.If some1 want to know atleast go inside and check you will get the reality.This is a great work this is the only group in which you can see Ahle hadis,Barelvi and others.The Tablighy Jamat never back bites like these MULLAS.I request to all Muslims if you cant support any group atleast donot blame them.

Once you get involved with these people, they brainwash you completely and make you one of them. Then you feel offended if somebody points of the numerous errors in fazail e amaal or the methodology of TJ. People should stay away from this jamaat until they leave fazail e amaal and change their methodology of working.

Why do the TJ insist on reading that book instead of Quran and good authentic books of hadith? And why do they go on international tours when muslims in their own country are suffering and need to be attended. This was not the methodology of the holy prophet (saws). TJ is putting a lot of effort and money but in a wrong way, I am sorry to say that.

first of all, Fazail e Amaal is the book compiled to encourage Muslims to seek knowledge of the Islam and start practising Islam, after wards One himself Efforts and joins MAdrassa to read TAfseers and books of HAdis.....

Secondly, they are working in whole Pakistan and in the places which we have not even heard i.e far inside Sindh, BAlochista, NWFP etc and even PUnjab.....

I suggest, its better spend some time with them, go for 3 days with them, then contact me.........

@Mohsinjalilkhan I know people from the TJ personally and I have gone with them also sometime back. They read from the fazail e amaal and teach concepts like "wahdatul wajood" which has no relation to islam. Thats what there problem is, they are putting so much time, effort and money but teaching wrong things to people. The elders of this jamaat should take responsibility of cleansing the jamaat of such things and Inshallah then everything will be good and even I would like to go with them then.

@Mohsinjalilkhan Yes I do. Wahdat al-Wajood is a concept based upon the idea that nothing exists other than Allah, and creation is merely the manifestation of Allah. This implies that the creation is Allah, and Allah does not exist outside the creation. This idea was proposed by sufi philosopher Ibn Arabi. This is totally against the principles of Islam. It is a product of hindu philosphers influence on sufis. What more do I need to say about it? Do u have a better explanation or justification?

The concept is this that Everything is in the Grasp of ALLAH Rabul IZzat and whatever, Good or Bad happens according to the Divine will.. But TJ teaches the concept of "oneness of being" which is not acceptable. They teach other sufi concepts like existence of abdaal and qutub so I avoid them and advise other people to do the same. @sqaish Wahdat al-Wajud means "Unity of Being". It is a Sufi philosophy emphasizing that 'there is no true existence except the Ultimate Truth (God)'. Or in other phrasing that the only truth within the universe is God, and that all things exist within God only. Hence the existence of God is the only truth (Haqq), and the concept of a separate created universe is falsehood. It means that we dont exist. Only Allah (swt) exists. This is a misconception and not what Islam teaches.

Be careful if u go out with tablighi jamaat because they read the book fadhail e amaal and there are lots of unauthentic stories in that book like dead people talking to the living, people seeing whats happening in paradise and hell, people asking the angel of death to wait for them until they finish their prayer and absurd things like that. It is better to stay away if they read it.

This Hazrat you are speaking of is one the greatest scholar of our time, and one of the top scholars of deoband in this time, he has spent time with Maulana Ilyas (ra) the founder of the tablighi movement, so I think he understands the work more than most of us. I'm sorry but i don't think you realise who the speaker is; Allama Dr Khalid Mahmud sahib is one of the most prominent deobandi scholars of the present age. He has more authority to speak on Tablighi jamaat than you and I. Allama sahib has authored over 50 books and is a highly regarded and most knowledgeable scholar.
