@4:44, Bob Howard, most decorated soldier in us history, and one hell of a man. One Bob Howard (on his worst day) was better than a company of VC on thier best. Col Howard was also one of the most humbled gentlemen a war can make, saying on many occasions that his many many medals and commendations (including the medal of honor) belonged just as much to the men he served with as himself. He would say that it was his good fortune to be alive if not for their valor. Remember him...RIP
@supertank7911 Some of the guys still use them when they are assigned to OpFor in training; I have a really hard time spotting it in forest/jungle environments.
At 6:50'. Phạm Công Khanh (nickname Khanh thuốc lào). A pilot captain from 219 Squadron " KingBee" or " Biệt Đội Thần Phong" , wearing camouflaged fatigues of Special Commando Unit. Nice guy but if anybody knows how many times he was shot down in action and still comes home safe and sound. This made me doubt about his ideal...I mean it
Powerful video. I don't really know about the special forces of South Vietnam. Thank you for the education and the inspiration. I definitely want to read more about them!!

@FeWolf The sentiment is shared. My own father, a MACV-SOG veteran, died in 2008.
