thanks for getting back to me is that 1.5m at its widest point or is the bit by the buildings a bit wider? also what is the width of the road barrier to barrier? Graham
The bit with the buildings is 90cm wider. The width from white line to white line is 20cm but the width from barrier to barrier is around 25-30cm (this plays well, because 20 cm is more realistic but you can still use the extra 5-10cm if you need).
looks hard to steer on the narrow track - got used to the dimensions in the meantime? or would you suggest me to make the track wider if i would made a similar one?
On the video you see two drivers, one is a complete beginner it was his first time driving a rc car. This track is clear not easy for a beginner but for me it is great (and I am not far from a beginner myself).
I like this width a lot b/c driving is precise and strategic, but remember that you have to drive at the right speeds. This actually means scale accurate speeds (speeds similar to the ones in the video). This track is not for the ones that want to go as fast as possible.
