So many "sheep-el" have been conditioned to hate someone who has valid reasons to dispies another group. The world has become nothing but a bunch of Pavlovain dogs. At the sound of Wagner's or Hitler's name and people conditionally go into their hate mode, but mention the names of Lenin, Stalin, Mao, or any other famed person of history that makes Hitler look like an ammatuer and nothing is said.

@captainmorgan757 Really, that speaks more to Lenin, Stalin, and Mao's PR and the power of WWII Allied propaganda than the mental faculties of the 'Pavlovian dogs'. We demonized Hitler, and we did it well. By the time the US had figured out what the USSR was up to, they were already falling apart, and weren't directly opposed to us. Hitler also made the mistake of doing something big enough for EVERYONE to be able to point at it and go "Holy ****, this guy's evil."

@bluepianopoet - Nothing wrong with change or modern interpretations of classical music. Nothing wrong with certain traditions, either. I'm talking about ham-handed, brutal, unskilled performances of compositions that can be beautifully played, whether in the traditional or in a modern style.
