First of all the only reason TCU is leaving MWC is becasue its not an AQ conference and they are good enough to play in an AQ conference. The Big East was kind enough to accept their transfer, much like the MWC accepting Boise state and Hawai'i, and the PAC-10 accepting Utah and Colorado. Although it is not relevant TCU did win a Nat Champ in 1938.

The Big East was down talked more than any other conference in football so why not join the Big 12? there it is right there in your back yard, you can have all sorts of great rivalry games with Texas, A@M, Tech. There is no way TCU will get the respect they deserve until they play a true schedule like what the SEC champ has to play or the PAC 10! TCU will never be able to validate why they should play a nat champ

Can someone please tell me how TCU vaidated themselves today??? I understand they beat a very good team in Wisconsin and played well. Tank Carder is a beast. But with that said, TCU plays 11 games against pure shit! The teams in the major conferences play grueling schedules where you have to bring it EVERY week. They are playing physically equal competition. TCU doesnt have to deal with that. So when bowl season comes they have ONE month to prepare for ONE game....Anybody can pull of an upset.!.

@leem2828 They proved that they can beat anyone on any day. Now they're going to an automatic qualifying conference that they can probably roll over. The BCS is a joke for this very reason, though. There are great teams outside of the AQ conferences that will NEVER get a title shot. They need a playoff, otherwise the championship is never as meaningful.

Wisconsin put up 70 points or more 3 times this year-against indiana, minnesota and a FCS team! really. Auburn played 8 home games. hell all they ahd to do was get out of bed and show up. TCU schedule is no different from any one team of the six auto qualifiers. next time try harder

Don't the so called experts know what happens when you make the Badgers the underdog in the Rosebowl? They win that's what happens. However, the Big Ten runs into the size vs speed battle vs the SEC all too often. And all too often the SEC wins. I am not saying TCU will dominate or even win (though I hope so!) I'm saying it will not be a blow out as you insinuate.

@jacobkehl No, I have seen the Horned Frogs play this year. YEah, I will give them their defense is very fast. Top 3 in the country. And TCU isn't from the SEC. they are from the Mountain West. The only top team that TCU beat was Utah. The defense hasn't been challenged all year by anyone. I'm not saying that it's going to be a blow out, I'm just simply saying that Wisconsin has an average offensive lineman weight of about 315 pounds, Ball & White have combined almost 1000 yards these past5games
