I can find alot more reasons why war doesn't work.
If group A wins over group B, it was the strength of the military and not the strength of the arguments who won. In other words, whether the correct argument wins is completely random.
Also as soon as people start fighting wars, they quickly forget why they started fighting them to start with, and war becomes an animal on it's own.
HHDL has relinquish his role as a political leader. what do you think his role as a spiritual leader will be? in April 2011, he received a letter to accept the authentic Seat holder of Rumtek. Read it here at dorjeshugden(dot)com News section
Dalai Lama is an amazing man. There are very few people you hear about that literally feel the one'ness of everything and do nothing but express the beauty of the interconnection of everything! I know thats a primary truth in Buddhist and many religious thought but so many people live life under the belief of division and seperation in the world. That will only end up destroying yourself and others. Global unity at this point is totally nessecary! Peace to everybody.
It can only get worse before it gets any better. I hope everyone can just appreciate their lives now and not allow themselves to be stressed over matters out of their control. What the elite of this world decide to do, rest assured, they'll do. PEACE!
Yhea right, or you made a joke, or you want the whole world to be mindless working ants.
Really dude, just lissen to everything he says, than think about your own theory, than leave your comment on youtube becouse this is just really really... yhea nevermind, I can't even think about the right word to use.
@DonnyDeutschisBigBro that was the most unmindful thing i've heard in days. may you learn to use compassion instead of anger to justify your words and actions. namaste
This man is very peaceful. I really feel that if your comment contains racial slurs or derogatory remarks, you clearly miss the message conveyed here.
It's human nature to have differing viewpoints, so therefore war persists as a result of two or more parties disagreeing each others points. War theoretically isn't outdated yet.
Mongolian now escape to China's inner mogolia by 100's daily looking for better lifes,

CHINA killed 20% of TIbetans! The world Must wake up and see the truth of massacre by China in Tibet, Uighur, Mongolia. We are NOT talking bout' the HISTORY.
The Dalai Lama worked with the CIA to train Tibetans in guerilla warfare with the aim of war. It is so easy for him to sit on his ass and talk fluff. Let's see the Dalai Lama walk into Tibet and practice this "war is outdated" philosophy.
@buddhasknowbest your name shows me your a hypocrite. The Dalai Lama did not fight when the Chinese came he did not kill or cause any violence. His aim is not to take Tibet by force, he is trying to teach inner peace and compassion and I'm sure the Dalai has enough of that and enough respect to practice what he preaches
The Tibetans fought an armed resistance movement for years and the Dalai Lama's administration was receiving aid and training from the American government. They requested and received armed weaponry from the CIA and Department of Defense to fight the Communist Chinese. This is no secret. Thousands of lives were lost in this armed resistance, says the Dalai Lama. The Tibetan government in exile even instigated racial violence and riots before the Beijing olympics.
human species is an evil humanoid species. human is bad from birth on. the nature of human consists of always needing something, being unsadisfied, interest above worth. worst of all qualities... the ability to not respect simple rules of universal life. humans are a biological weapon that is killing this planet and all other visitors by creating a huge inbalance to all cicles. there is only one way how to save earth - removing humans from the surface.
@XenoLuKan You lack confidence in humans sir. We are not born evil we are taught the wrong things and our surroundings influence us. A child is born innocent and peaceful it is what he see's and takes in that shapes his values and ethics raise your children well for they are the future. We all do this and evil will be diminished to a low. But you are right on some point there will always be people born with a bad seed in em but it's never to hard to change them for the best.
@xXronaldo4lifeXx i indeed do lack of confidence in a species that kills for pleasure and not for suvival. this planed is dominated by needs... alle beings needs something and most of all - nutrition. on earth there is a cicle of who eats who and who closes that cicle to make it beginn again. it would match this reality here to split it in good or bad without to see it as one big picture with many different views upon. a child might be innocent. it will learn "survival" or die.. both are sad
What this guy says is so simple, even obvious. Its scary that hes the only one saying it. Its to bad not all arguments can be solved through negotiation though. Maybe we can find an alternate solution that isn't passive but also isn't war. That is, if we aren't too busy arguing over which of the two works better to find a third way that works well. Stupid culture of using argument and clash to problem solve >: (
“I would like to take this opportunity to renew my call to the government of China to release Mr. Liu Xiaobo and other prisoners of_ conscience who have been imprisoned for exercising their freedom of expression.”

The whole world knows:
China is Governed by LIars.
Chinese People are fed on Lies,
Chinese have no credibility whatsoever in the outside World.
I respect the Dali lama always very much but let me add these factors to the equasion. While mutually assured economic prosperity is something we would like the destruction of the same is something we would like to avoid, also we don't want to send more money over seas on the basis of scientific frauds such as like we saw in the climate gate scandal.War is something we wish to avoid also but the intricate nature of our geopolitical situation makes that reality out of immediate reach.peace
This is one of the silliest statement I've read in a while.
Blasphemous. The dalai lama said it's okay to change religion if you want to. He believes in pantheism which is utterly against biblical Christianity which tells us to be totally unspotted from the world. The dalai lama is pushing the new age we are all one drivel when in truth it's through love we become one
@Sammyjackson1488 Why are you so angry and/or disrespecting to the Dalai Lama?...a great teacher of peace and compassion and optimism? You may want to start considering your contribution as a human to humanity and all sentient beings in this lifetime. You'll probably not be getting another chance if you don't.Laters.
I've contributed more to the betterment of society than the Lama. He lives a secluded, opulent lifestyle. When is the last time he ever threw a bum a dollar?
@Sammyjackson1488 hey Sammy,I don't want to argue back and forth but a Dalai Lama can't exactly walk down any street throwing out dollars any more than a president of the U.S. could. And it's pretty delusional to think you've helped more people than him.His is the leader of millions and inspires peace and compassion to all races and religions & non religious all over this world.Someone or some propaganda has influenced your thinking wrong.Too bad.Peace.Over and out.
Why can't he walk down the street? Is he better than me? Has he ever taken in a homeless family? How much does he give to charity? What does he do on a personal level? Sure, the Lama seems to be a nice guy, but he's basically just silly and out of touch. 10-4.
Actually, that sounds like something the Lama would say. BTW, by the year 2050, white people will be an official minority in America, and Western Civilization well on the way to oblivion. What says the Lama about this? He's got nothing.
The war business, the killing industry employs tens of millions of people in production for destruction . US MILLITARY corporations are the dominant in this field and have dominated the POLICIES OF THE RULING ELITE for decades.
Capitalism the monetary web of control, exploitation in a tyrannical ,destructive market mechanism of commodity production for profit . The wage slavery of immense humanity in a useless employment system for the private gain, greed of a tiny minority. World capitalism is the template for war, enviornmentaal destructions, animal cruelty a social reality of dehumanisation and distortions of our creative constructive abillities/compassion for a world of cooperation for our common needs ,wellbeing
As long as Capitalism persisits War is inevitable and a profitable part of yhis parasitic system of the wage slavery of immense humanity for the private gain of a few.
@arzoyan The Dalai Lama speaks the truth, but so do you. While war may be outdated it is still needed to really affect big changes in our societies. Because there are so many rules and laws now that restrict any real change from happening anytime soon. The only change is imposed by popular RESPRENTATION... not popular OPINION... big difference.
@lifthz Only a world-wide majority democratic movement for a world of cooperation for our common needs and well being in a MONEYLESS,CLASSLESS,STATELESS communites of humanity can be the force for the real change. War is a evil, destructive minority imposition for minority interest.
@arzoyan You're a communist, you would love North Korea. So why don't you go over there, make 2$ per day and eat bread every day with posters of Kim Jong Il on each of your walls? This is your dream, isn't it? Equality on every possible level? Here's an idea, let's force doctors to work for minimum wage under the dictatorship of Arzoyan. We could have posters of you everywhere that we need to worship. Sounds like the perfect plan for you. You are a commie, and yet you are proud to be one.
@arzoyan You do not know the first thing about being a slave if you're willing to resort to communism as a common recourse for people who clearly have nothing in common. People aren't equal, never will be, if they were, I would agree with you.
@car Communism that you are criticising rightly is State Capitalist tyrannies in backward, feudal countries, as for China, a reality of extreme exploitaion persisits for the benefit of the world Capital. What I have been suggesting all along is a MONEYLESS,CLASSLESS,STATELESS communites of humanity managing our resources and our creative energies in A WORLD OF COOPERATION FOR OUR COMMON NEEDS AND WELL BEING, A WORLD OF HARMONY .
@arzoyan You are genuinely insane if you think a MONEYLESS, CLASSLESS, STATELESS society would suddenly cause the 40,000 crackheads at Skid Row to suddenly have the desire to wake up at eight in the morning to go to work in favor of others. I doubt they are as selfless as you. Maybe you're willing to go to work for free and drag along the slackers for the rest of your life, I would rather be realistic and pull my own weight and maybe help a few people along the way. I'm telling you communism
@arzoyan literally impossible, especially the communism that you advocate. Not everyone would want to COOPERATE with your little communities because they would realize that working for a living is no longer necessary, which would literally drag down developed and especially developping nations into complete chaos, because suddenly supply would no longer be able to keep up with demand. Capitalism often surpasses the demand, but this is still better than not meeting it. This is not Neverland.
Now if you genuinely believe that people have to work from 8 to 5 to be productive and useful, you are still believing that capitalism is the answer for people's needs. The problem here is that in capitalism there is no room for divinity, or selfexploration, for everything is worth money and everything can be bought.
In itself that presents no problem, bar the fact that people with low self esteem believe themselves to be worth nothing more than money. That in itself is degradi
@rubbereruben I don't mean to offend, but your ideas are unbelievably naive ad would lead to the downfall of western civilization. Communism is a horrible idea. How many stories have you heard of people escaping it from various countries in Europe. Capitalism sucks sometimes, but I don't want to live in 1984 (Socialism, I know; not Communism). We must do everything to prevent such a world from ever happening.
@carlmelanson1 rubbereruben is not advocating communism. He is saying that a person has an intrinsic value regardless of how much money they have or how much they can produce. So he is arguing for a greater freedom where 'the divine' artistic creativity and self exploration have a high priority. For instance, a person with disabilities who is incapable of working has an intrinsic worth and deserves the freedom to lead a fulfilling life.
It is obvious to me from your comment that you have had little or no education on the subject of economics. Capitalistic countries actually profit from peace as it facilitates free trade. It is entirely against economic principles to wage war, as it is expensive, interrupts trade and destroys factors of production. We should look for the answer to war elsewhere, perhaps in human nature, and find other ways to motivate peace.
@threelittledoves your comment is rooted in ideological manipulation and contortions, human nature is driven to adapt to the real reality, and our social reality is a MARKET SYSTEM OF WAGE SLAVERY OF IMMENSE HUMANITY FOR THE MONETARY GAIN OF THE RULING ELITE ACROSS THE WORLD. as your ignorance about the political economy is no surprise, its systemic for mass mind colonisation for commercial use.
@arzoyan Don't mix politics with economics. They are not the same thing, there is one thing called economic theory and then there is the political reality that doesn't always follow. Are you not a hypocrite when you accuse me of ideological contortions when your own comments are merely meant to persuade? You don't even provide any evidence for your views. I also think you are a close minded extremist for not considering my views when obviously you have not taken any time to evaluate them fairly.
@threelittledoves What is your evidence except some religious nonsense about human nature. Politics and Economy are just like space/time singularity, your reductionist and cartoon understanding of the world childish to say the least,
@arzoyan Insulting me and my views will not change them. You have made many assumptions about me. For example, I am in fact irreligious and you assumed that my views were rooted in religion. My reference to human nature was not cited as evidence, it was merely a suggestion of an alternate root to the phenomenon of war. I will not waste my time arguing with you. Adult, civilized people discuss. You are obviously not capable of a calm discussion, therefore I will not include you in one.
@kherabro you are to the point, A moneyless, classless, stateless communities of humanity living on EARTH in COOPERATION for our common needs and well being in harmony, wisdom and sanity for all generations . MONETARISM is the imposition of the evolution of the tyranny of PRIVATE PROPERTY RELATIONSHIP of alienation, exploitation and suffering of immense humanity in a useless emploement system of wage slavery for the abstract process of CAPITAL ACCUMULATION and concentration
Curious that the Dalai Lama - himself the victim of an authority stronger than himself imposing upon him their laws of their land, usurping his - should embrace Globalism over National Soveriegnty. That he cannot see an intrinsic weakness in placing all the eggs in one basket, both economically and in terms of identity, mutual welfare etc - no one can starve ina Global Community -so unless we curb numbers or erase modern lifestyle we tip the balance of sustainablility irrevocably.
2:40 - 3:10 For some reason he does not mention the real point for avoiding the conflicts: The spiritual mehanism that stays behind. We can not gain a real victory this way but only a temporary illusion for such. The conflict couses only spiritual damages. So many examples in history!
"Unless you [the Chinese Government] are able to break our love and respect in our hearts, all your fruitless campaigns and activities will only strengthen our unity and love for one Tibetan brother to another," wrote Kunga Tsangyang, a young monk in Eastern Tibet, who was given a five-and-half-year prison sentence because of his writings
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
I encourage everyone who comes to this site to YouTube search and watch Penn & Teller: Dalai Lama and Tibet. Just to get a sense of how full of crap the Dalai Lama is.
I guess to you, there will always be the concept of "We and they". If you don't want a global people united, no divisions, no seperatism, just everyone together as 'one' so to speak- then that's fine, go live in the woods.
You can live in the woods with Alex Jones and Glenn Beck, hunting and forraging and talking about reptilians invading and shit.
Rahab not everyone is the same, some people believe in god some dont, some people think its OK to be Gay some dont, some used to and have changed there mind recently lol Christian I speak of anyhow, some people like secularism some dont, you wouldn't want me to push Islam on you, I dont want a secular world order pushed on me, I dont want to see gays in Jerusalem or Mecca just like Catholics dont want gays in Rome and we both have a right to resist and we will by any and all means necessary.
lets get a couple things straight here. fact: it is ok to believe in god. fact: it is okay to be gay. another fact: it is also okay to be totally secular. any society which thinks otherwise is simply retarded. and that's a fact.
a single world consciousness is not only an inevitability, but a necessity. That is, unless we all die first. It's one or the other, and everything I've said here is true.
@superdog797 And why all these things you mentioned are "facts"? Who told you so? Do you reallize what means "everything I say is ok"?! - That literally means that you are nowhere in aspect of reallity. No marks, no signs for "up-and-down", no direction, no forms, no life, no light.... nothing. Spiritually Dead.
do you think that they are not facts? Look at what I said specifically:
It is OK to be gay. It is OK to be atheist. It is OK to believe in God or gods. Any society that does not believe these things is literally retarded. All facts. Do you disagree with any of these?
@superdog797 The point in the severe lapse of Logic in your words even if you can't see it right now.
Usually the wise people ask first: Why I shell do this? And: Is this ok?" - Only if so, they do. You proclaim the opisite way my friend. That is the most simple answer.
You want to make clones out of everyone and have everyone living in a state of fake peace similar to that of the movie the Watchers by occultist Alan Moore another New Age Satanist pushing the agenda, anyhow if you like that then fine, I dont and I wont accept it and I will resist it and so will all the people who think like me so if you want the NWO its going to be over the dead body's of me and all like minded people and trust me we have more fight in us then some wishful thinking New Ager.
@KilluminatiMujahad Who said anything about making clones. The problem in this world is that if someone is gay we get hung up on them being gay. If someone is of a religion we get hung up on that. I assume you're muslim would you like me to make assumptions about you based on that? No. You'd want me to think of you as a human being and accept you. That's all anyone's talking about, learning to think of each other as people rather than muslim, or gay or rich or whatever.
you are violating the most basic aspect of Moore's thought by assuming that all other who you identify with think exactly as you do. In a wave of revolution, slow or fast, every single person will decide their preference and which side they'll be on (the past or the future). We will balance what we get under our system now and what it costs us with the benefit and cost of a modified way of organization. If one is intelligent that analysis will be thoughtful, not paranoid.
Whos being paranoid here?I have read lots of new age literature and this is another one of your tactics, to shame the people who disagree with you by saying that they are either stuck in the past, too ignorant or not intelligent enough to understand your point of view, some of you have the nerve to say that those of us who disagree are not evolved enough as you are so we are not capable of understanding you, you say I am paranoid, its fine, I am more familiar with your perspective then you are.
it's not my tactic. If you are so interested in politics as your profile shows, maybe you can see the content of the speech here and how i can be used to reduce militarism between groups. it's not, as maybe you think based on your profile, the 'jew' way of talking and shaming you, it's a viewpoint with a lot of 15th-20th century leftist thought backing it up. you claim this is the globalizing agenda, but more accurately it is a study of the way people incporate borders and hate into their mind.
@tyrannicoystercult Why dont you stop trying to sound smart and tell me what the hell your trying to say dude. You said
"In a wave of revolution, slow or fast, every single person will decide their preference and which side they'll be on (the past or the future)"
I agree and if its secular globalization over national sovereignty and freedom of religion I made my choice eh bro, is that clear, has nothing to do with me liking or not liking you, I could care less how you live your life.
at the start i misread you and thought you were following Moore so i was saying you've got him wrong. and the rest haha it would be obvious if you just listen to the video man, he is saying something about the psychology of leaders and their people and their inability to imagine the benefits of mix of cultures and peace because of whatever reason. i'm saying I don't get your opposition to this as a relevant part of politics and history. mixing of cultures and art is awesome, more the merrier
the important part of the Us and Them attitude, is that a secret police can always raise 'reality' into the realm of hyperreality where the 'Me' can re-assert itself. there is always a way to be selfish, it's also seemingly a more naturally-ocurring thing in people, terrifyingly changing our 'nature' from days or places where it is 'not'. at least terrifying if one is interested in the most rational path to pleasure, that is, through other peoples' ability to entertain us.
he is not talking politics hes expressing stop thinking so hard buddhism is not a religion but a way of being.. sit talk walk run sleep live die all ways to express
Dalai Lama is asking China for religious freedom. Tibetans are asking Dalai Lama for religious freedom.
Dorje Shugden religion is worshiped by 4 millions Buddist Tibetans worldwide for 300 hundred years plus in Tibet.
14th Dalai Lama worshiped Dorje Shugden for 40 years. Dalai's teacher and grand-teacher all worshiped Dorje Shugden. But Dalai lama and his government exil in India banned Dorje Shugden as evil.
Worthless, bloody Youtube. I had a brillant 490 character reply and Youtube lost it. Irritating. In the future I'll copy all my posts to clipboard before trusting them to the cyber-shredder that is Youtube.
You're not giving your employer good value, phoni-one. When being paid to post lies by the Chinese Government, it's best not to give yourself away by just cutting and pasting identical comments under different names. The boss is paying you good money; you should at least rephrase your lies.
"Monks never ever have the right to speak about politics" I suppose you decided that speaking ex-cathedra from your belly button? As a lay buddhist myself, I always assumed that monks have an OBLIGATION to speak on ethics and truth.
Not that I don't understand your objections or your desire to dictate what others may say: I checked your homepage. As a follower of Che Geuvara and a proponent of violent marxist conflict, the concept that "war is outdated" must be very threatening to you.
Every body and any body just simply cannot accept authority and start dictating terms. Especially monks. They should quietly practice 223 precepts, speak when they are asked to and live on the charity of the land. Monks should answer only spiritual q.
I invite u to accept theraved Buddhism which strictly follw what Buddha said. "what other's add to Buddhism is decit of mara"
Che is my other passion, the cause of the masses. Violence is never good unless directed towards the rich.
You really are a Moron and uneducated fool who knows nothing about Buddhism. You are anti Buddhist and racist and you refuse to acknowledge what H.H. The Dalai Lama and The Tibetan Lamas have done for the spread of the Buddha Dharma in the world today.
Tibetan Buddhism has spread too USA, Europe, South America, Mexico, Singapore, Taiwan, japan, where the tradition has gained popularity.
tibetan culture and religion is alive and flourishing inside tibet more than in India under dalai rule. indian tibetans have no true freedom of speech under dalais autocratic theocratic 70 yr rule under the cloak of democratic india. he discriminates the minorties and worship of diety dorje shugden and now trying to tell tibetans inside tibet on what they should not wear. down with dalai lama two faced monk politician and his elite wealthy family.
The Dalai Lama demands religious freedom. Yet he persecutes a Buddhist sect that worships a deity called Dorje Shugden He poses as quirky, giggly, modern monk who once auctioned his Land Rover on eBay for $80,000 and has even done an advert for Apple . DLhas been remarkably nepotistic, appointing members of his family to many positions of prominence. In recent years, 3 of the 6 members of Kashag, the highest executive branch of Tibetan govt-in-exile, have been close relatives of Dalai Lama.
not only H.H.the Dalai Lama, but many tibetans (including me) have experienced, that shugden does more harm than benefit to you.
H.H.the Dalai Lama is trying to alert the tibetans from this harmful deity (shugden) who will grape your neck , if you forget to pray him one single day.
who has the time to pray this harmful deity (shugden) every-day in this fast life.
I am happier without shugden in my life.
if he try to grape my neck , I will grape his neck.
He needs to talk to George Bush, the former leader of the world's superpower...the most selfish nation per capita or otherwise. Sure we give certain amounts to charity to mainly get tax breaks...But what of our disinterest in sweatshops? "We" buy ipods produced by chinese sweatshops. He is FAR too naive.
Down with his phoniness dalie lama s 70 yr autocratic theocratic rule over tibetans, down with him and his elite wealthy family and the aristocrats who benefited from Old Tibet. Ignorants of Old Tibet are just jumping on the bandwagon and blindly worshipping this serf owner of old tibet, who stays in 5 star hotels wears Gucci shoes eats meat, befriends celebrities while calling himself simple monk. He pulled compassion out of his ass in India coz Old Tibet was not Shangrilla under his rule.
Surely by the same dynamistic legitimation that China took hold of Tibet undermined the overthrow of the dynastic rule over China.... I think that once again the apologists for the PRC show their lack of logical thinking and their adherence to Party propaganda.
Down with this serf owner hypocrite monk of Old TIBET and his elitist millionare family and the damn aristocrats who are still ruling these poor uneducated ignoratn brainwashed tibetans in india. Down with theocratic autocratic rule of Dalie Lama and his elitist family.
Any one interested in Buddhism, please read the teaching of Buddha only. Every thing else is the decit of "MARA"
I bow to the teaching of Buddha, the quiet and REAL monk and the good lay people.
D'Lama is not Buddhist but Lamaist, he should do what is best, Buddhism, and leave the running of China to professionals. No where did Buddha instruct monks to interfere and advice rulers on politics
Why does the CCP find it so hard to accept any responsibility for the current problems in Tibet?
The Tibetan spirit is strong, but it is up against a lot of challenges!
From religious repression to economic discrimination, environmental destruction to political oppression, the Chinese government's rule over Tibet continues to have a devastating effect, both on the Tibetan people and their land
Problem with the Dalai Lama is that he lies about Tibet before Chinese rule. Tibet had a feudal society, a tiny minority of robber barrons and Lamas with the rest of the population living as oppressed servants. The elite agreed to Chinese rule as long as they could maintain their feudal society. The Chinese said 'OK' as revolution must come from the people anyway. The revolution came. This is a shocking ebook you can read for free:
This is one of the silliest statement I've read in a while.

He believes in pantheism which is utterly against biblical Christianity which tells us to be totally unspotted from the world. The dalai lama is pushing the new age we are all one drivel when in truth it's through love we become one.
Do you even care about what the Tibetans want? Or their feelings for that matter?
Do you think that if a country like China truly cares about its own people that it would treat them this way?
You say Tibetans were serfs but if they were happy that way why didn't you leave them?
I know you want to maintain your territorial integrity, that's why making Tibet a Special Administrative Region would be a suitable compromise between both groups.
Keep in mind though that obedience is ingrained in their culture and religion... and they believe in reincanation. One of the rules of it is that if you are good and not rebellious, etc. then you will get a better life in the next (there's a similar concept in Hinduism).
Granted, people do abuse religion. HH realized this and wanted many reforms, but remember a Regent was calling the shots and by the time he attained his political majority and gained full power, the PLA had barged in
"Tibet's self-proclaimed independence in 1913, after the fall of Qing Empire of China, WAS NEVER RECOGNISED LEGALLY BY ANY COUNTRY." (Global Research).

War has always been outdated and this SHOULD be a century of dialogue. Too bad that's not going to happen. So long as there are radical islamist groups and other militant cells dedicated to enslavement and murder, we will have continued conflict at the international level.
lets put this guy as a leader of the world....i m sure evrybody will be in peace.

The Dalai Lama worked with the CIA to train Tibetans in guerilla warfare with the aim of war. It is so easy for him to sit on his ass and talk fluff. Let's see the Dalai Lama walk into Tibet and practice this "war is outdated" philosophy.
buddhasknowbest 1 year ago
@buddhasknowbest your name shows me your a hypocrite. The Dalai Lama did not fight when the Chinese came he did not kill or cause any violence. His aim is not to take Tibet by force, he is trying to teach inner peace and compassion and I'm sure the Dalai has enough of that and enough respect to practice what he preaches
xXronaldo4lifeXx 1 year ago
@xXronaldo4lifeXx

XenoLuKan 1 year ago
@XenoLuKan You lack confidence in humans sir. We are not born evil we are taught the wrong things and our surroundings influence us. A child is born innocent and peaceful it is what he see's and takes in that shapes his values and ethics raise your children well for they are the future. We all do this and evil will be diminished to a low. But you are right on some point there will always be people born with a bad seed in em but it's never to hard to change them for the best.
xXronaldo4lifeXx 1 year ago
@xXronaldo4lifeXx i indeed do lack of confidence in a species that kills for pleasure and not for suvival. this planed is dominated by needs... alle beings needs something and most of all - nutrition. on earth there is a cicle of who eats who and who closes that cicle to make it beginn again. it would match this reality here to split it in good or bad without to see it as one big picture with many different views upon. a child might be innocent. it will learn "survival" or die.. both are sad
XenoLuKan 1 year ago
What this guy says is so simple, even obvious. Its scary that hes the only one saying it. Its to bad not all arguments can be solved through negotiation though. Maybe we can find an alternate solution that isn't passive but also isn't war. That is, if we aren't too busy arguing over which of the two works better to find a third way that works well. Stupid culture of using argument and clash to problem solve >: (

carlmelanson1 1 year ago
@car Communism that you are criticising rightly is State Capitalist tyrannies in backward, feudal countries, as for China, a reality of extreme exploitaion persisits for the benefit of the world Capital. What I have been suggesting all along is a MONEYLESS,CLASSLESS,STATELESS communites of humanity managing our resources and our creative energies in A WORLD OF COOPERATION FOR OUR COMMON NEEDS AND WELL BEING, A WORLD OF HARMONY .
arzoyan 1 year ago
@arzoyan You are genuinely insane if you think a MONEYLESS, CLASSLESS, STATELESS society would suddenly cause the 40,000 crackheads at Skid Row to suddenly have the desire to wake up at eight in the morning to go to work in favor of others. I doubt they are as selfless as you. Maybe you're willing to go to work for free and drag along the slackers for the rest of your life, I would rather be realistic and pull my own weight and maybe help a few people along the way. I'm telling you communism
carlmelanson1 1 year ago
@arzoyan literally impossible, especially the communism that you advocate. Not everyone would want to COOPERATE with your little communities because they would realize that working for a living is no longer necessary, which would literally drag down developed and especially developping nations into complete chaos, because suddenly supply would no longer be able to keep up with demand. Capitalism often surpasses the demand, but this is still better than not meeting it. This is not Neverland.
carlmelanson1 1 year ago
@carlmelanson1
That in itself is degradi
rubbereruben 1 year ago
@rubbereruben I don't mean to offend, but your ideas are unbelievably naive ad would lead to the downfall of western civilization. Communism is a horrible idea. How many stories have you heard of people escaping it from various countries in Europe. Capitalism sucks sometimes, but I don't want to live in 1984 (Socialism, I know; not Communism). We must do everything to prevent such a world from ever happening.
carlmelanson1 1 year ago
@carlmelanson1 rubbereruben is not advocating communism. He is saying that a person has an intrinsic value regardless of how much money they have or how much they can produce. So he is arguing for a greater freedom where 'the divine' artistic creativity and self exploration have a high priority. For instance, a person with disabilities who is incapable of working has an intrinsic worth and deserves the freedom to lead a fulfilling life.

@arzoyan yeah but perhaps in time it will get smaller and smaller until it will vanish and perhaps we should do anything we can to help...
bogdyvyp 1 year ago
It is obvious to me from your comment that you have had little or no education on the subject of economics. Capitalistic countries actually profit from peace as it facilitates free trade. It is entirely against economic principles to wage war, as it is expensive, interrupts trade and destroys factors of production. We should look for the answer to war elsewhere, perhaps in human nature, and find other ways to motivate peace.
threelittledoves 1 year ago
@threelittledoves your comment is rooted in ideological manipulation and contortions, human nature is driven to adapt to the real reality, and our social reality is a MARKET SYSTEM OF WAGE SLAVERY OF IMMENSE HUMANITY FOR THE MONETARY GAIN OF THE RULING ELITE ACROSS THE WORLD. as your ignorance about the political economy is no surprise, its systemic for mass mind colonisation for commercial use.
arzoyan 1 year ago 2
@arzoyan Don't mix politics with economics. They are not the same thing, there is one thing called economic theory and then there is the political reality that doesn't always follow. Are you not a hypocrite when you accuse me of ideological contortions when your own comments are merely meant to persuade? You don't even provide any evidence for your views. I also think you are a close minded extremist for not considering my views when obviously you have not taken any time to evaluate them fairly.

Curious that the Dalai Lama - himself the victim of an authority stronger than himself imposing upon him their laws of their land, usurping his - should embrace Globalism over National Soveriegnty. a single world consciousness is not only an inevitability, but a necessity. That is, unless we all die first. It's one or the other, and everything I've said here is true.

That's all anyone's talking about, learning to think of each other as people rather than muslim, or gay or rich or whatever.
ketsan 2 years ago 2
@KilluminatiMujahad
you are violating the most basic aspect of Moore's thought by assuming that all other who you identify with think exactly as you do. In a wave of revolution, slow or fast, every single person will decide their preference and which side they'll be on (the past or the future). We will balance what we get under our system now and what it costs us with the benefit and cost of a modified way of organization. If one is intelligent that analysis will be thoughtful, not paranoid.
tyrannicoystercult 1 year ago
Whos being paranoid here?I have read lots of new age literature and this is another one of your tactics, to shame the people who disagree with you by saying that they are either stuck in the past, too ignorant or not intelligent enough to understand your point of view, some of you have the nerve to say that those of us who disagree are not evolved enough as you are so we are not capable of understanding you, you say I am paranoid, its fine, I am more familiar with your perspective then you are.
KilluminatiMujahad 1 year ago
it's not my tactic.

CaptPhoenix 2 years ago 2

In recent years, 3 of the 6 members of Kashag, the highest executive branch of Tibetan govt-in-exile, have been close relatives of Dalai Lama.
hisphoninesss 2 years ago
not only H.H.the Dalai Lama, but many tibetans (including me) have experienced, that shugden does more harm than benefit to you.
I am not afraid of him .

This is one of the silliest statement I've read in a while.
Blasphemous. The dalai lama said it's okay to change religion if you want to. He believes in pantheism which is utterly against biblical Christianity which tells us to be totally unspotted from the world. The dalai lama is pushing the new age we are all one drivel when in truth it's through love we become one.

To all Chinese here let me ask you something:

War has always been outdated and this SHOULD be a century of dialogue. Too bad that's not going to happen. So long as there are radical islamist groups and other militant cells dedicated to enslavement and murder, we will have continued conflict at the international level.
