hey edizzle52, thx for your comment and to answer your question about the brushes...I think it is just a matter of wich sound you like or looking for, since I am hitting the drums with the brushes, I find the sound produced with plastic really cool, metal is to loud and heavy for me, also the sound on cymbals is less nice for my taste...and if I tie the metal brushes like I do, I probaly go right through my drum batter lol
