Whooomp, thump, whooomp thump. What is that? A watermelon rolling around in the trunk of a car without the cargo net. My 2001 Malibu came with a net, and the melons have been behaving ever since coming home from the market! The nets come in handy for sure to keep order in the trunk, can't deny this! Thanks for the movie Richard.
Your welcome howie and your reason pretty much sums it up for me getting the net espically now that we are getting our famous melons in now so it helps greatly.
And thanks to the net in the trunk, another melon is safely home, sitting quietly on the shelf, unbruised. I have to admit, I love the sound of the whooomp-thumping melons. But it can be distracting, and at a most inappropriate time, None-the-less, sort of ranks up there with sneakers being dried in the drier. Kerrrr-Thwock, Kerrrr-Thwock-Crump, Whump!
Yeah gm seems to always have them built in when they want to. had an 01 impala that didn't come with it but the dealer installed it no charge. I was hoping in this vid to help fusion owners out seeing on other fourm sites how they complain about it so I think I fufilled my task thanks for the imput.
Nice one, Richard! I didn't have the nerve to film the installation of the cargo net on my 08! LOL! The bolt setup was a little different, and didn't use tailight bolts. On the one side, I just attached the net to the bolt, on the other side, I attached it to one of the hooknuts. I figured it would always be in the trunk anyhow, whether it was stretched out or not. You did a great job..strikingingly different net on the Buick!
Thanks jack It was a pain alot of cursing that youtube fourtnatly didn't have to bare so I felt good. Yeah the buick I haven't really been too fond of the only personal thing I like about it is the 3.8 its got and thats about it. Thanks for the imput jack. Richard

Sucks for Fusion owners, installing the cargo net on my Cavalier is a matter of screwing on the anchors and slipping it on.
