@livingeasi Funny thing is most of them were kicking my ass before I went spy. This was actually a competitive server with nearly everyone communicating with headsets I was the only f2p and even got a vintage axtinguisher for topping the score board for the round.

For a competitive server, these people sure are stupid. They're rolling three snipers at a time, and the let obvious, undisguised Dead Ringer spies get behind them. Their pyro is oblivious, off in his own little world instead of hunting you down like he should be doing. That one engie ignores you to go after a sapper you placed, leaving him open to a stab in the stupidest way possible. This is one sad comp server.

@KennyStrife To be honest, a lot of this was luck/situational though I will concede that those snipers were being idiots assuming I'd leave them alone (I don't know what you mean by letting undisguised spies get behind them, Coldstar that other spy actually did get caught and killed trying that stuff it just doesn't show it in the video.) The pyro is actually pretty good but didn't know I switched my IW for the DR. The engie was a random like me if I recall, not sure, may explain his idiocy.

Actually, I got a tip for when you come across a Razorback sniper. Have the Ambassador so when theres a Razorback, wait fro noone to be around, then shoot that sniper in a head shot, or just shoot'em to death XD

@insaneguyXP Hah thanks for the tip. Unfortunately I didn't come across any razorback snipers but the Enforcer does 72 damage point blank anywhere for an easy 2 shot kill before the sniper can turn around. With the ambassador you can also two shot a sniper but one hit must be a headshot, if you miss your first headshot you will likely have a very angry sniper ready to disembowel you with his machete. Trust me when paired with the dead ringer, the enforcer is the better (but noobier) choice.

I dislike the enforcer and dead ringer. But it's a good weapon for F2p or players that just started tf2. But, My eternal reward is a tuffie you need some pretty decent spy skills to use that.

@Nyugaboi Yeah I use the ambassador now and dropped the dead ringer for cloak and dagger/IW though I don't find the YER difficult, it's actually my preference for whatever reason.

I've gotten some complaints that this set up is everything a spy shouldn't be. No cloak or controlled disguise so I'll upload gameplay of me with my spy-cicle, ambassador and invisibility watch or cloak and dagger. But seriously who gives a crap as long as you get the job done?

Because from the enemy spy disguised as your team he is really holding his knife, he is just faking that weapon he is holding in your view.

A way to tell if an enemy is disguised as a spy on your team is they can't disguise as the enemy team.. E.g.

If I were on Red team and i disguised as a blue team's spy I couldn't pretend to disguise as a blue team spy to disguise as a red team spy to trick them.

This is a handy trick if an enemy spy is disguised as one of your team as a spy.. They wont be disguised.. Also, if enemy spy is disguised as any other class such as soldier.. They won't shoot at your enemy team.

@Toddles345 Well yea I don't typically play non eternal reward spy but as a spy your best bet is to be behind the enemy so they don't see that you're not firing and if you pick a class to disguise as demo seems to be your best bet if you're appearing on the move and sniper pretending to aim while the enemy walks by you and then you backstab them.

However I thank you for the tips any pointers are welcome in this video/comment section.

@Toddles345 That's not true. When you disguise as an enemy spy you will automatically appear to have a disguise to your enemies. i.e. when as enemy looks at what they think is a friendly spy it will say "[Name] disguised as demoman" or something of that nature.

@JMacStudios I'd say it's personal preference. One has a weak pistol but a quiet uncloak, the other has an over powered pistol that can two shot light classes point blank but a loud uncloak. I wouldn't recommend chasing the hat just for the set but if you have it try both and see which you do better with.

@ExplodingMummies ...Ok maybe you can make an argument for the invis but honestly the dead ringer? First off you should only be engaging enemies when your dead ringer is full (ESPECIALLY WITH THE HEALTH HANDICAP the big earner has) going in with it any less is too risky as you won't survive a spy check. This fact alone makes the big earner's stealth regen on hit useless as you should already be at full and retreat if attacked. But I'm open to your reasoning behind DR big earner, explain :)

tip for you sir, at the part where u were getting the engie, you could've simply stabbed the engie as the eternal reward switches the disguise so fast the sentries don't notice, doing so would've saved a lot of trouble

@yhtomit58296 I know, it's just I was playing really conservative and wanted a high kill count for youtube and didn't want to risk missing the stab because if I did it'd drop my disguise and I wouldn't be able to pull up my dead ringer before the sentry lit me up.

@TheHDSociety Lol don't worry, I sucked pretty bad at the beginning too. And sure you can add me, I don't play right now because of university but xmas vacation is coming up so I can show you some tips in like a week. A lot there is to being a spy is preference as far as knifing goes and all the knives are good (except big earner). I just highly recommend dead ringer and better yet coupled with the enforcer. The rest is hard to explain and I'll be better off showing you so add me /id/Chriscrc

You're lucky they didn't pick up on it, i mean u got hit once and u "died" from the dead ringer. Also how those engi's and soldiers didn't easily recognize you as a spy is beyond me. The medicx were standin still, the engi didnt even shoot u when u sapped his sentry, Honestly some players in tf2 are mentally fucked. In saying this, im trying to give u tips but i will still destroy u in tf2.

Funny part is as long as I get a disguise without the other team noticing I'll average 15-20+ sprees.  This was about a 25+ spree that could've been way more had the game not ended.
