Yepp, my biggest this far. Bigger than me;-) One hell of a fight! We are in Caspe, as somebody suggested. And the reason for the striptease-act is quite obvious for anyone that has encountered these species: Get slime from a Silurius Glanis (Welsh Catfish) on your clothes and they will never be the same again.

Hopefully we will get back there again soon. The guide was great, but we would like to do it more "unguided style" next time now that we have tried it once.

why you use carp rod on catfish crazy lol i broke 2 using a carp rod do you see how flexible is it?you can brake it.i get a 109 kilos catfish in ebro and a 33 kilos carp

@chrisdotwynn It's drop bait. they literaly bait the lines and send a guy in a row boat out to dump the bait, then the poles are put in a holder with a bell on them so you nver touch the poll untill a fish is on.
