I hadn't heard silencer before and judging by what I heard here it really does sound like a joke band.... Everything else ranges from amazing (Burzum, Bathory, Enslaved, Gorgoroth etc.) to generic(Anorexia Nervosa, Anaal Nathrakh etc.)

I must say, Overal pretty cool compilation of the black metal sound though.

It's just my taste, but I don't like Dimmu Borgir. It becomes too commercial for Black Metal. In norway, we can see ad for their album in a supermarket catalogue. It's totally a shame for a black metal band.

But if you love this band, it's fine, it's your choice and I respect it.
