It was still a rubbish stunt. I saw Evel Knievel jump over 13 double decker bus's on a motorbike and he crashed!! It was great. He broke loads of bones. On the same bill was a 60 year old guy who dived from 100 feet up into a small swimming pool which was on fire!! These are proper stunts not like the lame Aussie loser last night. Sure, if he had done it whilst there was still traffic on the bridge or maybe did it blindfolded, that would have been OK.
The British were unable to govern America any longer as the child had out grown the parent. The Amercans only won because It was too far to ship troops within a reasonable time frame to fight. Had the war been closer then there is no way the British would have lost as they were the greatest force in the world at the time and the Americans, with all due respect, were nothing more than a bunch of illiterate farmers.
