The economy was great all through the 1980s, and would have continued so, had Democrats been willing to follow through on their promises to reduce spending, and had Bush Sr. not renegged on his no new taxes pledge. Under Reagan, the lowest 20% of income earners had an increase of 12% in their earning power, having lost 17% of it under Carter.

So anyway, I was starting to meditate in group, but when I folded my legs into lotus position my hip popped out of its socket. Damn! It hurt like hell! I began moaning and groaning, but my fellow meditators thought I was chanting my mantra so they ignored me.
So I farted this rotten eggs flatus that wafted around the room - egad!! - THAT got their attention. Then, since I was still folded up in lotus position, I decided to just go ahead and shit my pants, hoping they'd call an ambulance.

Marco Rubio has it exactly right. His interpretation of the proper role of government is exactly that of our founders and of Ronald Reagan. It is too bad that many in my country do not share that vision, for if they did, they would be far more prosperous and happy.
